It's not been the car with other ROMs I've used, nor stock. But it's not a huge issue.

That's odd. I've tried a bunch of PD chargers and none work. I might have done something to mess up the kernel or something...

That's nice to hear as I've had the same issue with Android 11 Pixel Experience. If it can be improved upon, awesome!

Yeah, I'm running the kernel the ROM came with, without changing any settings, as it seems to run fine enough for me.

Is it normal that there is no option for changing the colorscheme like there is on pixel devices, cause I think I have seen this feature in a review of this rom

For anyone wondering, this ROM boots without any issues using this zip 'KOSP-2.2-hotdog-user-OFFICIAL-GAPPS-20211218-1709-img.zip' on t-mobile OnePlus 7T pro 5g McLaren (HD1925) (Stock ROM was on 11.0.1.6, yes T-Mobile version is a lot of versions behind from the international version of this model) ... WiFi is not working, I have not tested SIM functionality

Is in your app permissions screen also in every app the permission-group UNDEFINED. Is there an easy way to fix this?

can't flash the rom it always stops at :'
writing 'system' 1/2...
FAILED (remote: Partition not found)

can anybody help me ?

Hi, after installing the rom, it keeps cutting out while fast charging. But Warp is fine while charging. Problems occur in charging cases above 1500mA

Was OOS camera dropped from KOSP and not brought back again?

I just went through all the changelogs and I saw that it was dropped in a certain build, but no mention of it being brought back.

and does this ROM have an option to move the volume slider to the left side where the volume rockers are?

Also, are AR apps working again or are they still not working?

EDIT: Not to spam post but how's the battery on this ROM as well?

    I haven't seen an option for that, neither on KOSP nor Derp, so I think it's not an option at all.

    Maybe someone else can confirm.

    Android auto is no Problem it works wireless and wired, but you have to disable USB debugging to use it in wired mode.

    KOSP is a small project based off AOSP and we intend to improve upon AOSP to provide a stable and better alternative to OEM roms with additional features.

    Truth is I'm just lazy to write a long list of features and we intend to focus on the stability rather than adding a ton of features.

    Bug reporting:

    DO NOT report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
    Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    Do not approach us without any logs for reporting bugs
    If it is a random reboot, grab everything from /sys/fs/pstore. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
    Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

    INSTRUCTIONS


    First time installation:

    Download the fastboot zip, It ends with -img.zip.
    Boot to bootloader
    fastboot update --skip-reboot --skip-secondary zipname
    Now reboot to recovery
    Factory reset in the recovery
    Reboot system


    Upgrading:

    It is recommended to update using updater

    Via recovery:

    Reboot to recovery
    Sideload with ADB (preferred)
    Reboot to recovery
    Reboot


    Via updater app:

    Open Settings -> System -> KOSP Updater
    Download the ota if available or if you have already downloaded the zip then use it for local upgrade
    Install the update
    Flash magisk to inactive slot (optional)
    (optional) Reboot to recovery if you have anything else to flash
