Status bar logo problem. When I connect headphone there is no headphone logo in the status bar.

Bugs that I've noticed:

1. YouTube didn't work in landscape mode when I first flashed this ROM.(don't know whether it's because of the ROM or YouTube app, but got fixed automatically after some time)
2. Automatic brightness is a bit higher on the side.
3. Sometimes the widgets may loading when I go to home screen.
4. UI glitches very rarely.
5. Haptic feedback is quite less than found in Oxygen OS.
6. Lock and unlock sound is very feeble.


I just want to get automatic brightness fixed in the next update and haptic feedback, it would be nice.

Apart from these, I want the dev to add 3 finger screenshot.

This doesn't mean that I want to report issues. Kudos to the dev for the work they've done.

Hi, does front/back wide angle camera work on this rom?

Install GCam 8.1 wichaya mod which works fine for ultra wide camera. Tried greatness and other mods too, but either ultra wide doesn't work or the photo has more noises and other issues.

how is the overnight battery drain for this ROM, in pixy its worsen, so thought of moving to PE

Around 8% for me about 8-9 hours. Don't know because of using material you icons and leaving the WiFi and Bluetooth toggle on. Overall battery performance is as good as Oxygen OS. Lasts about a day and I used more than I used to. I will try to post after few days of usage.

OOS was worser in terms of overnight drain, I would get 5% of drain per night and 7hrs of max SOT with heavy yse, PE11 gave 10hrs SOT max with heavy use
With 2-3% overnight
This ROM is about 4% overnight and I haven't measured max SOT but it gives me a full day of 80% charge

I found the problem. Left Wifi and Bluetooth toggle on as well as using the material you icons. That's why it drained so much. The next day I turned off WiFi and Bluetooth, it drained only 3%.

I was on PE last week, battery life is pretty good, around 7 hrs of SOT with my usage.
I'm currently on Octavi OS battery life is excellent. There are no major bugs . I'm debating between using PE+ (when it comes out ) and that.

Although that rom is an unofficial build it's pretty stable, there are some great features too. Most of which I believe will come to PE+.

But until then, I'll keep using Octavi OS

On Pixy, I'm barely touching *5h of SOT. I'll flash PE after this battery drain and check the battery out.

How much SOT is Octavi OS giving? Can you tell me an approximate? How is the fingerprint scanner? Better than Pixy?

I think it's same as Oxygen OS or may be extra half an hour than Oxygen OS. Roughly, I'm getting approximately 7 hours with 10% of still battery left. Lasts more than a day. I don't do gaming. I use Chrome, Insta and YouTube alot and also watching movies 1 hour daily. Sometimes I also got 8 hours. Without gaming, you should probably get 7-8 hours.

If you leave WiFi/Bluetooth or both of them on, overnight battery drain will be 5-6%, suppose if you're using material you icons as well, add another 2-3% other than above. And trust me you won't be disappointed with the performance. But don't expect any customisations as it's pure stock Android.

5G drains alot of battery, otherwise I would get above +8hrs

First day done in this ROM and here is what I think about it.

1. Battery is ****ing amazing! I got 7h 30m of SOT which is better than OOS. This SOT was on 12 hours of use connected to WiFi for all the time except a couple of hours when it was connected to mobile data. Considering I was connected to mobile data, this battery backup is really impressive.

2. Performance is really good. It's fast and snappy. It is not 90hz all the time though. I've seen it drop to 60hz in Snapchat and YouTube Vanced. It stays on 60Hz even when I open PiP mode of YouTube.

3. Fingerprint works most of the time. It sometimes fails and refuses to open my phone with the correct finger. I just switch the finger or wait for a few seconds before trying again for it to work. Fingerprint just needs a little bit more tweaking and it will be as good as OOS or even better.

4. I have not found a lot of bugs on this, haven't had any crashes either. I have stated on bug with the refresh rate above. One more thing I have noticed is that when on battery saver mode, the clock and notifications in AOD disappear but the fingerprint prompt stays even though FOD is disabled at that particular time.
One more issue is that the charging time is displayed wrong. It's either 16/17h to full or 1min to full.

5. Just a small request from me. I know Pixel Experience is set to be minimalistic, is it possible to add themed icons for third party apps as well? It would really look good imo.

6. It comes with Gcam go which is really rudimentary. I got Greatness Gcam with Fury config and It works well. Not all cameras work tho. Front wide crashes the app repeatedly, back wide also crashes the app but when reopened will work. The app crashes when switching between wide and normal but on reopening it will be on the camera you opened last. If possible, OOS camera will be a bliss for this ROM.

7. Alert Slider UI is missing, please implement it.

8. Volume slider is on the wrong side.

When will Pixel Experience Plus launch? I'm waiting for it so I can move to that. I've been reading about it online and how it has better features. I'd recommend this ROM over Pixy because of the much better battery life right now.
