Maybe you have ambient display on (Is on by default)

------
Forgive my ignorance, but... is there any way to turn off the screen without having to press the power button every time? Something like double tapping the notification bar or holding down the home button?
Yep, it was turned on. Turned it off, will check if it will help.

You can enable Double Tap notification bar to turn off screen. It's in Settings->System->Status Bar->Tap to sleep. (Idk if it's Plus only)

It seems that it is for the plus version :(

I hope it works, since I switched to Pixel Experience I still haven't left the phone on at night, so it may happen to me too even with it deactivated, have a good day man!

Is possible dirty flash to plus edition from pixel experience?

So, after some more usage I've isolated the lagging to the launcher. It's only animations when scrolling in the home screens, in the app drawer, and when opening/closing apps that are low in frame rate.

I'm using stock launcher (Pixel Launcher).
Noticed the same thing, I tried with nova launcher and now only the opening/closing animation is in low frame rate. However, nova is also lagging just after unlocking the phone.

The battery while the phone is inactive goes very fast :(, I don't know what the problem will be, but if this continues like this it is not valid for day to day (Because a lot of battery goes away during the day without doing anything)

Another problem that I have is that I have the habit of turning off the phone to charge the battery, I had it at 20%, I don't have any option or app that turns the phone on automatically and every time I turned it off it turned on again, so about three times.

Then when I connected it to the light, it turned on again, but there are roms or phones that work like this, but it didn't happen to me with LineageOS or ArrowOS

Translation : Hello. I noticed friezes in the desktop menu. It seems to me that on Android 12 the system worked more smoothly than on version 13. Autonomy of 8 hours of the screen is obtained at 144 hertz. There are also microfreezes in applications. (sorry if something is wrong, I use google translate)

In regards to battery drain while Idling: I didn't had any of this, although the high battery consume is indeed there in the current release build. Some other device had the drain related with the Pixel Launcher, however updating it from the Play Store solved it seems.

About the refresh rate on the launcher: That's not an apollo exclusive and it could be a behaviour that Google accidentaly made or, although unlikely, even the behaviour they were looking for.

Hello good people.
I have a small problem, if someone can assist me with the solution, thank you in advance!
I've tried to install this ROM, but I am stuck on fastboot.
Followed all instructions, step by step, everything is perfect until point where when I enter fastboot mode, all capital orange letters "FASTBOOT" show up on dimmed screen, and my MI10T Pro device name in device manager on PC became "Android" with yellow triangle.
Installed other version of MI Unlock, (it popped up in version I downloaded from here, there is update, after I failed couple of times, updated, and only difference there is file called "MiUSBDriver", everything else look just same.
I Installed that driver - same situation.

Must say, I am not noob with computers and tech, but installing another ROM on my phone I did last time before 7years, tbh. :D But, still, same road like before - read and do in correct order, step by step how developer wrote in the guide.

So, if I did it how dev wrote in the guide, where is the mistake? Why I can't pass MI unlock moment?

Again, thank you in advance for advices and sorry if is little longer post.

Peace

Edit: Grammar

Edit2: So, this morning, I factory reseted my phone, cleaned computer from everything unpacked, did everything step by step again, and finally came to Unlock screen, but now need to wait 154h. Which is standard, how much I've read around.

Very strange situation. Try to do it with a Linux OS machine like Ubuntu.

Hi, everyone

I'm still a beginner.
Yesterday I installed my first custom rom.

I was using an hp laptop with a short good usb cable and the phone was fully charged.
The installation worked as described. Xiaomi needs 7 days to unlock
I was surprised how well everything worked.

My questions:
- I got a security alert from google with a "huawei nexus" and not Xiaomi 10T pro device. Place and time was o.k. Is that right?

- Is there a way to use the google camera app? or is that a hardware problem?

Thanks for the work.
Carsten

Hi!

Yes, the "fingerprint" of the device is not Xiaomi 10t Pro, so that's fine.

Google Camera works fine. I can recommend the LMC version found in this Telegram channel.

    Found a bug?:

Check if you made a clean install (wiping Cache, Data, Dalvik/ART Cache and System). If you did a "dirty flash" I won't give you a solution. Make a clean install first. If you flashed a custom kernel which is not the ROM stock, first of all return to the stock kernel of the ROM before reporting. If you made a clean install, report it, and don't forget the logcat. Official supported ROMs can be only a bug of the ROM and/or of the device. If it's of ROM, report in the official ways of the ROM, like the Telegram Chat.

Anyone has scrolling issue when browsing the web?
The scrolling stops abruptly when I flick it.
It only happens in web browsing. I tried different browers and got same issue.

There is no problem in other apps such as reddit and twitter.
I also noticed this in Chrome, it scrolls slows: as there is resistance.

NoGravity kernel also solved the issues I had with Android Auto: are these ROMs, using the same kernel as Xiaomi uses within their stock ROMs? Because on every ROM I tried, Android Auto wasn't working.

Until I flashed the NoGravity kernel: not only it solved the scrolling issues, but also the Android Auto issues. Which I thought where a bug with Android Auto itself.

I want to thank the authors of this rom for their amazing work. I started to hate Xiaomi policy that somewhat resembles Apple style, this is not the Android I wanted and expected.
The device works as intended, no issues so far. As being my first ever rom installed from scratch this is incredibly surprising. I hope you keep update this. The Snapdragon 865 deserved a better treatment than what Xiaomi did.

I edit the comment waiting for news, nothing is now like when I installed pixel experience.

Flashed the latest Plus version a couple of days ago. No bugs that I've noticed, which is fantastic!

One thing I did notice is a that the refresh rate appears to be lower after some usage. I switched on the FPS counter in developer settings, but that shows that the frame rate is 144, even though the perceived frame rate is much lower (I would say below 60). Any idea what could cause this?
