Make sure to update your device to the latest version of OxygenOS 12 (C.24 for DE2117 or C.23 for DE2118) BEFORE installing this ROM. Mismatched firmware can cause weird issues. You can also flash firmware manually by following these steps after installing PixelExperience Recovery.

How do I install this?
Installation is more or less the same as LineageOS. In short, if you're coming from stock:
- Update to the latest version of OxygenOS
- Unlock your bootloader
- Flash the dtbo, vbmeta, vendor_boot, and boot files in fastboot
- Reboot to recovery
- Sideload the copy-partitions zip
- Reboot to recovery again
- Wipe data
- Sideload the PixelExperience zip
- Reboot & enjoy
Detailed instructions

Does this work on the T-Mobile/Metro variants?
Yes. Keep in mind that the method to unlock the bootloader on carrier vatiants is different than on the unlocked variant. Once you unlock the bootloader, the rest of the installation procedure is the same.

Is this ROM stable enough for daily use?
I think it is. Check the known issues section to know what's not working before you install.

Does this ROM pass SafetyNet/Play Integrity out of the box?
Yes. Note that installing mods, such as Magisk, may trip SafetyNet/Play Integrity.

Thanks to everyone who helped bring custom ROMs to this device, including:

@lzgmc - thanks a lot for this.
PixelExperience has been my favorite ROM and I have been looking for this for my N200(s) for a while.

Do you think you would be able to provide regular updates for the ROM?
Yes, once a month.
I don't see any update option in the System settings.
Are updates not supported?
There's no updater app in unofficial builds. You're gonna have to wait for official builds
The cell network is extremely flaky - going in and out every 2 seconds.
I am using an xfinity mobile (verizon mvno) sim, in case that matters.
What firmware are you flashing from?

I am using TMO Sim unlocked version and followed the following steps-
-updated to C23 firmware
-unlocked bootloader
-flash vendor, dtbo and boot

When I restart to recovery, I get into a weird loop where it reboots once and then gives a blank screen. Since I'm connected to PC, it gets into Qualcomm diagnostics mode-

My only option is to apply MSM to Android 11, and update to C23 and retry, which results in the same issue. What is wrong here?

I hope that you're flashing the vendor_boot partition, not vendor. In that case, I'm surprised that flashing those partitions would cause your phone to EDL - the worst that I'd expect is that you'd get kicked back to the bootloader. Complete shot in the dark, but you could try flashing a blank vbmeta image before you boot to recovery.

Yes, happened to me a couple days back, I reset the phone and got all the txts..
Looks like Lineage 20, from which I recently switched from, is having the same issue.

PE13 is working like a charm (including the mic) on 3 of my N200 devices.
    Can you re-frash and try?
ive got lineage working almost perfectly.. i have to disable and reenable use sim under Sims/t-mobile after a reboot otherwise cant receicve sms. but damn i got everything setup and working again. told myself i would wait for the next pe update but i may give it another go later this week.

you are the man for maintaining this rom though, i was blown away by the difference. so much smoother and fluid and enjoyable. the little time i had to spend on oos when i msm'd back really sunk it in. i can see why this phone got so much hate but with pe or los it really is a nice piece of tech.

i really will try again soon.. the pixelexperience was very nice. thanks to you for keeping it for everyone.

edit: sorry im a bit tipsy thought you were lzgmc lol...

I thought mine was not working, but indeed it is. That's a relief.

In the recorder app, the built-in mic is not selected; instead, the headphone jack input is. You pull up the device menu (very small text under the record button) and select it. From there it worked as expected.

I also tested voice typing, works as expected.

I can't test phone at the moment, but I'll post again when I can. I wonder if it's the same situation there? I don't see any setting in the phone or settings app.

so i decided to just go for it and went back to pe but skipping msm back to stock because thos updates seem to take forever. happy to report mic is working, did an echo test. and that setting in the recording app lol never noticed it, should probably be set to mic by default.

Re: recording app setting, I know, right!? And it's not even a button, just microscopic text! I missed it many many times. It was actually the icon that caught my attention. And yeah, the built-in should absolutely be the default.

Is your mic working for phone? I haven't had a chance to test yet.

Glad you made it back to PE!

The first official PixelExperience and PixelExperience Plus builds have been released.

If you're on an unofficial build, flash the latest firmware before sideloading the latest build. You can download it from post #48 and install it with this guide, starting from step #3.

Deadlines, they're so hard to meet...

I've been working behind the scenes to get official builds ready. They're almost ready, but a couple things still need to be worked out behind the scenes first. You'll probably see official builds pop up in the next few days. But I recognize that I've kept you guys waiting for far too long. For now, here's a test build straight from the PixelExperience CI servers. It's got all the good stuff in there: July security patch, QPR3 update (with spiffy new animations!), and N200-specific bug fixes from LineageOS. Yes, microSD cards work now. It should be mostly identical to an official build sans OTA updates.

Note that you'll need the latest firmware, C.24 for DE2117 or C.23 for DE2118 to use this build. Lucky for you, I extracted both so you don't have to reflash OxygenOS. See the attachments for the links, and this is how you flash firmware. (T-Mobile/Metro users can ignore the warning, by the way.)

If you already have the last unofficial PixelExperience build installed, you should be able to just sideload this build in recovery after you flash firmware. If you don't have PixelExperience yet, the wiki is up to date, so follow the instructions. Yes, you can use the vendor_boot and dtbo files linked there.

    Download PixelExperience test build here
    Download PixelExperience recovery here

Oh, also these downloads expire on the 29th at 2pm PT, so you might want to hurry.
