I wonder does disabling encryption allow you to use TWRP as recovery then?
You can use TWRP without disable encryption too. The only difference is you cannot access userdata, other functions will be same as they should.
If you disable the encryption by flashing multidisabler, yes you can access /data in TWRP.

One thing to be careful about is when you are formatting data in TWRP. Linux4's build only support ext4 (due to some issues with SD card), at the same time TWRP's default is F2FS. If you keep the /data on F2FS, the ROM won't boot.
TWRP is not supported by the developer. Please don't report any bugs to the developer (if there is) and do it in your own risk.

Once again, data safety should be put in the 1st place, so disable encryption is NOT recommended.

Awesome, thanks for the advice. I don't have anything super important on the phone, including accounts. Plus I lost all my data because of a faulty Magisk module when using CR-Droid 12 with encryption. So that's why I'd prefer to have no encryption just in case that happens again. I hate losing all my stuff, and backup software always seems to fail me

Hi Jason, I'm just asking you since I saw you as a huge sound guy 😊
Do you know anyway to increase mic volume in calls. When I'm on a phone call the other party cannot hear me very loudly. They here me in very low volume. Is there any chance you knowing a solution to this? have you experienced it also?
    thanks.
Try turning the phone off, taking an ear bud or cotton swab, Dip it in isopropyl alcohol, or diesel/petrol if you can't afford isopropyl and don't mind the smell, and then just wipe out the speaker grills on the front and bottom, as well as the microphones on the phone, there's one on the top and one next to the speaker on the bottom, the microphone holes are really small. Don't apply too much pressure but try to get all the debree out. That should hopefully fix it and make your speakers sound way better

The latest on Fox's mmm works for me no problem, install with the Audio Compatibility Patch on mmm as well, and make sure to disable the musicfx system app as it may cause issues
