Hey, does anyone know anything about OTG functionality? It is very flakey for me:

Nord -> OTG -> keyboard/mouse/Thumb-Drive - Does NOT work
Nord -> OTG -> USB-A to USB-microB cable -> Note3 - does NOT work
Nord -> USB-C to USB-C cable -> USB-C to microUSB adapter -> Note3 - DOES work. (Nord is able to access Note3's data)
Nord -> Thinkpad USB-C dock -> keyboard/mouse/Thumb drive - DOES work.

I have tried both orientations of the adapter with no success. All of the above was tested to work with an S9 instead of Nord.

Official OnePlus forums mention that one needs to enable OTG storage access in Settings/System, but I was not able to find anything OTG-related in Lineage settings.

WIFI won't work for me. I can switch it on but nothing happens. Saved networks shows an empty screen and when I return WIFI is turned off again.

You did not pay attention to instructions and flashed on top of old firmware based build.

Revert to OOS12 and flash official LOS build again to fix this issue.

In order to revert to OOS12 you can use MSM tool.

You need to revert back to stock, then update to OxygenOS 12 (I had to download the update from XDA, my phone wouldn't auto-update to it for some reason), and only after your phone has OxygenOS 12, install Lineage.

At least that's what I had to do, I hope someone can give guide of how to flash only the needed firmware or whatever part of stock system you need. I didn't find that myself.

Which update did you download? I can't get my phone into EDL and haven't found any ZIPs of the ROM I could flash.

I used fastboot to flash the stock ROM here https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...stock-fastboot-roms-for-oneplus-nord.4142153/
The OOS 12 is an update you have to install from within the OOS updater (local update or something like that). I got it from here https://www.xda-developers.com/oneplus-oxygenos-12-android-12-update-tracker/

Note: Don't use the internal updater if you have NikGapps installed; will result in a bootloop.
An easy fix is to just install the ROM via recovery, reboot to recovery and then install the Gapps (works even if the device is bootlooping).

That's why LineageOS team recommends using MindTheGapps.
Those "survive" OTA updates as they come with a script for this purpose.

I wanted to switch from NikGapps to MindTheGapps without factory reset, so I removed NikGapps following this method:
Afterwards I flashed the current LOS build using adb sideload, rebooted to recovery, flashed MindTheGapps using adb sideload, rebooted to recovery again and flashed latest Magisk using adb sideload.
Phone is booting normally, and most of the Google apps work as expected, except Play Store. It keeps saying "You're offline". Earlier in this thread I read, that I need to accept the conditions of use to make it work.
But I don't want to factory reset for running the initial configuration. Is there another way to achieve the same goal?

Hello @MajorP93 and thank you for your awesome work!
I have two questions:
- Is your audio optimization from unofficial already implemented?

- Is it possible to geht rid of the unlocked bootloader warning?

Regards

Hello,

during my tests I did not encounter any drawbacks in regards of audio quality.
In the developer settings you can find some audio related settings like bluetooth codec, sample rate and bit depth.

After installing OxygenOS 12 and flashing LineageOS 20 afterwards there won't be an "unlocked bootloader" warning.

Regards

Have you tried:
1. Long press the app
2. App info
3. Mobile data & Wi-Fi
4. "Allow network access" and enabling the usage of Mobile and Wi-Fi data
Also had this happen to me once, it's a stupid fix for a stupid problem. Hope this helps and if not, feel free to reach out :)

Many thanks for that. Indeed it was disabled. I cleared cache and data of Play Store and Play Services and rebooted. Then it was up and running.

One of the previous updates of pixel experience also required me to downgrade to OOS 12 first then update to pixel experience. I have already done that. Do I need to downgrade to OOS 12 again to install lineage OS? Also. I'm unfamiliar with lineage OS. Does "nightly" mean this ROM is in beta and/or early stage?

Yes, "Nightly" mean that's the early stage but only of the official LOS (released since 2 weeks) but Major work on it since 1.5 years before it was official so it's very stable and didn't deserve the "Nightly" term because it's not really an early/beta release.

I daily it (primary phone) since ~2 weeks and I'm happy with it.

    LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 13, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS GitHub repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    Yeah it works fine now. Even after deactivating developer settings which required by my bank app to work. Thanks!
    Man, there are some sh* banking apps around putting all kinds of restrictions 🤦

    Any issues so far? I'm currently on Pixys and it's working perfectly.
    Nope, I daily it without seeing any problem, even after flashing the Gapps after a boot (I just needed a factory reset after the Gapps flash)

    A big congratulations on going official!

    Does this mean the LineageOS + microG version is not far behind and will appear on https://download.lineage.microg.org/ soon?

    I don't understand much about it, only that the build process is automated. :)
