I'm trying to update from Pixel Experience Plus 13.0 20230505 to 20230713 , the OTA update has been offered through the system for me.
It downloads fine but when it's time to reboot to recovery it just shuts off and doesn't turn on by itself, when I turn the phone on, it boots into recovery with errors like:

E:Error opening trace file: No such file or directory (2)
E:Failed to read /cache/recovery/block.map: No such file or directory
E:Map of '@/cache/recovery/block.map' failed
E:failed to map file
E:Error exit from the fuse process: 1 Installation aborted.

And the update doesn't get installed, obviously, I tried at least 3 times and it does that every time.
How can I fix this? Thank you.

hi! yes you can, i do this from he beggining i installed this rom! for updates you don't need to wipe all.

hi, you must install the revovery from P.E, look at the first page of the topic there are instuctions etc. It can work with some version of TWRP too. I have 3.6.2_12 version. Better install the P.E recovery to be sure.

I did not install another kernel.

I have no problem with: crdroid. and miui 7.1

Answering my own question for anyone else having this problem, I just used adb to sideload the the .zip of the new version (dirty flash), I was afraid of losing data but after some research I found out that was safe.
