I would like to leave one more feedback, after using it for a whole day without restarting the cell phone, it started to "lag"(when I switch apps, for example. not a smooth exchange). After restarting the phone everything seems to be back to normal.

I have it and love it. Everything works fine.
Maybe I'll extend the life span of my daily driver only need a new battery

The mic was normal for me on Whatsapp and calls, I haven't tested it on other apps, are you sure it's an OS problem?
Anyway, unfortunately dev has discontinued the project... I hope all is well with him.
I just installed Los 20.0 and it's good for now.
