- Removed AudioFX (sound distortion problems should be fixed now)
- Sepolicy fixes

Possibility to get auto disable notifications while screen is on and multimedia is playing. This is really killer feature.

I can definitely see about that. Not sure if it might already exist or not. Have you looked under Havoc Settings > Notifications and seen all the available options? I still haven't managed to get through testing all the features yet. lol

Yes, this feature exist. And this is awesome!
But I'm still on stock ROM because of the camera and internal speakers issues.
Hope Havoc ROM will rid of these issues because it has a lot of really good stuff!

Magisk: yes.
V4A: no.

Magisk via patched boot image method - take your stock ramdisk, patch with Magisk Manager, flash patched image.

Hey y'all! Im trying to install this rom and I'm getting stuck at the boot animation for over 15 minutes and then the phone restarts back to stock recovery. It's not just this rom it's other ROMs as well like phh/pixel exp. I have flashed treble ROMs successfully in the past but this time it ain't working with me even with the instructions included and flashingg via twrp.

My problem is I'm getting stuck on the boot animation, it doesn't boot loop it just keeps on animating

I installed this rom on a friend's Mate 9 and it's definitely a stable daily driver. In fact some of the bugs on Havoc on my OnePlus 6 don't exist on this Mate 9 version. He loves the rom. Great work dev.

I installed this earlier today. So far it's running great. Installation went smoothly except restoring my apps stalled out. I had to cancel and install them individually. I think this is a Google problem as it happened on my wife's Essential phone too.

I can't wait to see what the battery life is like. Thanks for creating this!

I don't know what instructions you were looking at though, cause the only thing I mention is about twrp is to not flash this rom via twrp, as this rom requires a factory reset with stock recovery before booting.

Hello everyone, a really great Rom.

I have installed on my Mate 9 (MHA L29 C432) as follows, back on Stock with HWOTA. Then 3 times wipe cache and factory reset with the stock recovery.

Then boot into the EMUI system.

In the developer options enable USB debugging.

Flash with Fastboot system.img and again wipe cache and factory reset (3 times) in the Stock Recovery. (In Germany we say: A lot helps a lot ?)


Boot and setup in Havoc.

Switch on USB debugging in the developer options again.

Then flash TWRP and Magisk 17.1

The only thing that doesn't work 100% for me is the Stock EMUI Camera.

I use a variant of the Gcam which works very well for me. (Except Video Recording !!!!!)
