Flashing Instructions:

Pre-installation:

• TWRP (Download from here)
• gapps (Download from here)
• Magisk 23.0 or newer for root (after first boot) - (Download from here)

First time installation:

• step 1 - Unlock your bootloader
• step 2 - Flash recovery
• step 3 - Go to "Wipe" Select "Format Data" and type "yes"
• step 4 - Now go to advance wipe option and wipe system ,data,cache,dalvik
• step 5 - Flash the Rom & Gapps and reboot one then flash magisk (if you want)

Update installation:From other rom or crdroid previous version

• step 1 - Wipe Data, system, Dalvik, cache
• step 2 - if your previous rom is encrypted format data type yes otherwise go to next step
• step 3 - Flash Rom zip
• step 4 - Flash Gapps and reboot .
• step 5 - If u want can flash Magisk for root after first boot

I'm trying to download the rom from last 2 days, but the download server speed is too slow the it shows 15 to 20 hours to download the file of this rom.

Please help me to download.

Reporting new issue of calling problem. After installing i am not able to hear the call voice of other and also my voice is not going.

Confirming problem with call audio. In my case, the incoming is fine but the outgoing doesn't work.

Tried changing the volume level in-call but no effect.

Happy with crDroid in other models, disappointed to find it unusable for Sanders. So moving on now, but hope this call audio problem gets fixed.

Just got 'update available' notification while preparing to flash a different ROM. Will try it first to see if problem fixed...

Bummer, exact same problem persists. So back to trying a different ROM for now.

I am having the same Problem. There is no Audio during phone calls. I cannot hear the other side and the other side cannot hear me. But speaker and microphon work in every other usecase, but not during phone calls. I've installed the previous release of crdroid to see if the problem is new in 7.8 but even with 7.7 i have the same issue. Therefore i flashed carbon rom and phone calls work again.
This indicates, that its a problem within the crdroid rom itself. As soon as this works i am fine with crdroid. Like the rom very much Please, please fix it.

Curious about this myself since I freakin' love crDroid so checked it out just now.

The official page says "This version of crDroid is outdated or no longer supported. Check for other crDroid version in above tabs or if you want to maintain it, read how to become a maintainer @ GitHub."

Well, this version is current since the next, 12 (crD 8), is not available yet. That means it's "no longer supported." The official support thread is this one you're reading so @ronaxdevil was the official maintainer.

All support work like this is volunteer, done "for the love of the game," so is much appreciated. It will take time to sort the audio problem so anyone who steps up to the task will have an extra challenge.

So is crD device support dropped? ATM yes. But that status can change any time. Or never, for this version. Expect a new download when 12 (crD 8) is released. Let's hope it doesn't have the audio bug.
