Did factory reset, wiped caches (Cache & Dalvik), Installed rom, but got stuck in Boot Animation loop for over 20 minutes before I gave up. I tried wiping caches again and rebooted. Same outcome.
I then realized I hadn't installed any GAPPS. Which should we use?could this be the cause of the loop on the Boot Animation?
Read thread on XPERIA Z and it said Any 4.4 GAPPS, so I will do a search on XDA, and try again with GAPPS installed and report back :fingers-crossed:

:silly::silly::silly::silly: My bad, I also forgot to flash the contained kernel...
After I flashed the contained Kernel, and Minimum GAPPS, IT BOOTED!!!
Now just trying to switch to ART :fingers-crossed:
I think I will also have to flash a more complete GAPPS, as I kept getting a warning that the keyboard crashed (which I guess is in GAPPS)

Just in case you are logging issues.
For the short time I ran this ROM before restoring my backup, I found the following.
1. The keyboard constantly caused a crash message, and could not be shown anywhere. ie could not send sms
2. The back button only worked on pop-up dialog. ie if you went into the second level of settings or in another app, the back button was ignored.
3. ART causes it to hang in the boot animation.
Phone calls did apear to work. I called my message bank successfully.

The KITKAT Rom and contained kernel, work smooth and no reboots till now? Wiped cache, Dalvik and all needed for a clean install, off course flashed the contained kernel in fastboot mode, all worked fine, found Gapps Lite 19/11/2013 and installed in CMW just like the rom...now see if the batterydrainage is ok....Execelent work and so fast, already a smooth steady rom...i love it until now and all progs i use work till now....smoothest Rom ever.....thanks guys....

ART needs an odexed rom in order to work,

I am back on the 4.4 ROM, and its working a lot better now. The difference is that I used the minimal CM11 gapps zip file. I also tried the CM11 ROM for our phones, and the ART function appeared to be (almost) working, to a point. After selecting ART, and rebooting, it then SLOWLY upgraded the phone by optimizing each and every app I had installed (about 30+min). However, the phone module and systemui just kept on crashing so that I couldn't do anything (except press the OK button on the notification), so much so that I had to pull the battery and re-flash a ROM; and hence I thought I would try Beanstalk KitKat again. Using the DALVIK
What doesn't appear to be working this time is WiFi. It appears to connect, and I can use an app called Wifi Analyzer to show the signal strengths, but I can't access the network. I have yet to reflash the ST18a baseband, so hopefully that will fix anything that isn't working, but I doubt it.
Scratch that, I had the wrong password... :silly: Even ADB over WiFi is working!!! :good:
This ROM is now my daily. I do miss some of the features of the last ROM, but hey.

Is this version coming soon too.....the 4.4 rom is awesome.....batterydrainaige is in range ....could always be better but till now ok ...keep up the great work Thx.....i love it....
