Yup. Same here. Solve it for now by turning off the "Connection Manager" under settings/more/mobile networks, then setting to LTE/CDMA/EvDO (or whatever gives you a signal) and leave it alone.Carrier settings keep switching to GSM continuously.... I posted a work around for gps.Yup. Same here. Solve it for now by turning off the "Connection Manager" under settings/more/mobile networks, then setting to LTE/CDMA/EvDO (or whatever gives you a signal) and leave it alone.
Doesn't help the fact that I haven't gotten even one GPS fix since installing this ROM, but I'm glad I could help with a work-around for another issue at least....
Well, you did say that the TK kernel made the ROM better in your post on page 1, but you didn't mention it as a GPS specific work-around....?.I posted a work around for gps.

Forgot to mention when you get a gps lock with another rom don't turn off the gps. Then goto recovery and flash Hell Kat and it should be working then. I've had to do that on multiple roms.Well, you did say that the TK kernel made the ROM better in your post on page 1, but you didn't mention it as a GPS specific work-around....?.
Anyway, installed KT kernel, about phone screen matches your screenshots exactly, but still no GPS love. I then Installed half a dozen GPS-related apps that claimed to fix GPS issues, nothing,
Finally I downloaded today's release (20140302), wiped D/C, installed from TWRP, STILL nothing.
Frustrating. Any other suggestions appreciated. I can't Nandroid back to stock, which is totally my bad, but, damnit. WiFi hotspot is working, so I can use Google Maps tomorrow on my tablet, but I can't abide that as a permanent solution. This ROM seems so good, I don't understand why the thread isn't 50 pages long like the other 4.4 ROM's??
EDIT: I also can't get the HellKat red-themed Halo app to show any pinned (and started in Halo) apps to show as a circle at the left middle of the screen, like in your second screenshot showing active GPS satellites.
Pretty sure it is alien intervention. Is this GPS lock problem also an issue on other CM11/AOSP ROM's when coming from TW stock JB ROM?
If so, how can this nightmare possibly be repeating itself from the SGS2 days??!! Back then, it was the inability to get a GPS lock after going from a TW Gingerbread ROM to an CM9/AOSP ICS ROM, & the only known work-around for that bug being: to get a GPS lock on the TW GB ROM, just before rebooting into recovery to install the CM/AOSP ICS ROM?
It can't be coincidence right? What is the common thread between these recurring GPS problems? (Older TW ROM to newer AOSP ROM, and then having no GPS lock until using the extremely inconvenient excuse for a hack (getting a TW GPS lock then going straight to recovery) , and how is it that no one seems to understand the root cause of the recurring issue (I assume no one does, otherwise it wouldn't still be occurring, right?
I'm so despondent about the fact that something like this continues, years after the issue initially occurred 2 phones / Android version ago. It's like a recurring nightmare! What does it all mean?
Aaarrrggghhh!!! Have we all just given up on a real fix, or was the SGS3 (which I skipped) the point where some unavoidable root cause was realized and accepted? I just don't get the lack of an obvious explanation after 2 years of this problem...

Same here.I flashed the March 11 version and the interface option causes the settings to stop working. Is this a bad flash or is anyone else experiencing this?
GPS is working fine.
