PREAMBLE
This is OmniROM for the Sony Xperia L.
Please, do not post feature requests or bug reports here - use DevDB or Jira instead, thanks.
This ROM is not a ZIP-port, it has been compiled from source.
Screenshots can be found in the "screenshots" tab of DevDB. There's no need to post more.

Any questions?
Feel free to ask here or in #omnirom on irc.freenode.net

I'm not responsible for anything:
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
 * Your warranty is now void.
 *
 * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
 * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
 * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
 * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
 * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you. Hard. A lot.
 */

Some information about OmniROM:
OmniROM is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KitKat), which is designed to increase performance, reliability and features over stock Android for your device. It is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restores the Google parts.
All the source code for OmniROM is available in the OmniROM Github repo.

Nice! finally someone ported this. Been sick of hearing 'that person' saying that he'll release something but never does. Nice work Olivier, any news about going official?

Let's see... I'll probably contact him and/or the Omni team and once I'm sure he doesn't want to merge our device in (which I actually doubt), this will stay unofficial. :D

Finally it's OMNI time...wish someone could port a multirom to our device soo much awesome to test! :good::good:

I've heard some of our devs (not me) are working on it. Spoilers :p

    Having seen the numerous ridiculous posts and comments about me (99% hatred, 1% truth) in the facebook group "Sony Xperia L : Development and Discussion" (I have heard a revenge is coming?), I'm going to abandon all of my projects for taoshan. Apparently, this is what the community wants and under these circumstances I don't really want to work on that device anymore.

    Sorry to those who actually did appreciate my stuff.

    Good news guys,

    our taoshan has been merged in, this means we're now officially supported! It's just a matter of time until we get official nightlies as well... :)

    BTW: A new build is up.
    10
    The first nightly is up, get it from dl.omnirom.org! :)

    As for 5.0 - I updated the kernel some days ago, but the device tree needs to be brought up as well. I can't do that right now, maybe in the Christmas holidays (I still have some exams, even on 23 December).
