I'd love to see on body detection enabled on CM, that would make this ROM even better!

So today I made a full wipe, SD card, internal storage. In the advanced wipe I selected everything so I cleaned the phone to the bones.

The camera app sometimes stops to take a shot, in that case I have to change to video recording and back or go to home screen with home button , because the back button not working too. Its a bit annoying.

The battery lifetime increased much against the CM11.

The profiles still not the best. If I make a silent profile and the media volume is overwritten to zero, I still receive media voice from viber e.g.

This might shed some light my friend - "third part apps can unlock the phone without password even if the phone has setted the password"

EDIT: it seems like 20150321 is a better and smother build than the last build 20150320. I'll post back once i see some irregularities ;)
One thing that i've noticed is the Capacitive or On-screen Buttons are fixed.
I found that switching from ROW to CFQ i/o schedulers made a noticeable difference in performance for me. Unfortunately though that green tint issue is still around when using battery saving mode :(

Yeah, I've switched battery saving mode off for this reason too. Hopefully it will be fixed soon..

    Hi guys,
I am pretty new on the CM12 nightlies, previously I was using the custom rom version by AntaresOne.
After moving over, I realised a significant slow response when pulling down the notification bar whenever my phone is on standby for like 5-10mins. Basically, it's inactive for 5-10mins, then I turn on my screen, pull down the notification bar, it's sluggish.

    Any good way to remedy?

I have no green tint with enabled energy saving mode on 21st nightly. I just set the 2 color temperature settings to 10000k day / 8300k night, screen mode anything else than "off" and adjusted the color calibration for my display (R=81%/G=83%/B=84%) but this may vary from display to display.

The green tint issue will still remain in some factors of our devices till CM fixes it. What has become the most important part for me is the performance of the build its self and I'm liking it :)
@stephendt0 - I leave those "Performance and I/O scheduler" as is. The stock kernel is pretty good. All though If i was on a custom kernel, i'd probably tinker away with the settings lol

What nightly are you using? The 20150319 and the 20150320 builds are kinda sluggish till you flash a custom kernel. But on the 20150321 build everything stock is all good.

EDIT: Want that pesky green tint gone? Well not totally gone but, USE a really DARK theme. ;) I'm using the Dark HOLO theme and its superb!

I'm on 20150315 build. Maybe that's why I'm having the sluggish feel when scrolling and interacting with the notification bar? Should I update to 22 build??

Thought I'd post this up, it may help someone else.

My GPS was useless. I had never tried using it until yesterday, when I started work as a courier. I was leaving it for over ten minutes and it completely refused to get a fix on my location. Starting work as a courier, I kinda needed it to work..

I was thinking of trying a different baseband, but before I did, I opened my phone up and lightly scratched the GPS antenna contacts with a little flat bladed screwdriver. I also very slightly bent the terminals on the phone that touch those contacts. Be very careful if you're doing this, you don't want to be snapping them.

So, I put my phone back together, powered it up and opened up the app 'GPS Status'. When my GPS wouldn't get a fix before, you could see that it was trying to, but the strength of the signal bars was very low. Anyways.... after scratching the contacts and launching the app, I got a GPS position fix after 2 seconds at the most. It was almost instant.

Even if your GPS is working, but maybe a little slow to connect or loses connection a lot, then doing the same as I did may help you. If like me your GPS isn't working at all, then this may fix it like it did mine.

I also would recommend using the app 'faster GPS' to correctly set your GPS region.

    Hope this helps someone else.

Try doing a clean flash of updated cm12 build and gapps my friend. I highly recommend PAGapps. :good: and your vcf file might be corrupted.

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 5.0.2 (Lollipop), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

       * Your warranty is now void.

       * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
       * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
       * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
       * you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
       *

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

We have de-unified the Galaxy S4 line. Too many issues with having them all in one and a maintainer's nightmare. Look for jfltexx builds now as opposed to the jflte builds you previously used.

      Clearly wrote in OP

This is not the place to talk about custom kernels, don't report bugs/errors if you use one.

I know that me and @alucard_24 work together on our custom ROM but this is official CM.

Original Alucard kernel isn't updated with new stuff, this means broken sensors etc. Only Alucard in our CM custom builds is updated for now (we had to test it, that's why you still don't have an update available)

GPE system size is being fixed in upcoming build

For those having a greenish screen on latest nightly:
Go to Settings -> Display & LED -> LiveDisplay -> Color calibration and set all sliders to about 50% (I have red=50%, green=47%, blue=51%)
Then press OK, switch off the screen (power button) and switch on again -> voilà, natural colors!
