I would like to install CM 12.1, but facing following problems,

1. I can install TWRP 2.8.7 successfully (from link given in OP), but when i go into recovery mode, screen becomes blank after initial Honor logo. --recovery screen is not shown.

2. Whereas TWRP 3.0.2 installs and runs perfectly, but then CM12.1 0206 doesn't boot. Also CM12.1 is installed in 5 -7seconds thru TWRP 3.0.2, which seems to be incorrect.

3. I downloaded CM12.1 from 2 different links, still no success when flashed thru TWRP 3.0.2. MD5 sum verifies while installation.

I am on Che1-L04, EMUI4.0 i.e. marshmallow version.. and i guess, that's the reason recovery TWRP 2.8.7 is not working..

Have you tried to wipe your phone and format /systme in Wipe menu before you flash CM12.1? Sometimes there is not enough space for CM12.1 to install.

Yes, i wiped system partition. Also, TWRP 3.0.2 displayed success message.

I assume, EMUI 4.0 is main culprit. because of which TWRP 2.8.7 doesn't start,,,

I suppose that depends on developers, when they think it's ok for daily use? And these days, CM rarely release stable versions for most phones.

Well,the nightly version of cyanogenmod for this phone (honor 4X) contains numerous bugs. Which makes it unusable

I'm using CM12.1 for Honor 4X, which I feels OK. In this thread, I see people using CM13 with minor bugs only, all manageable.

Directly flash it.
wiping or not doesn't matter

i want to know how to update baseband version

i dont know why...after flashing JIO 4g sim not is detected. .....any solution...please help me
