same thing was happening for me...was never able to upgrade

i just did a wipe and it works, but there has been no new update since..so i cant see if i will be able to upgrade to the next..

i'm using a deb model

Thanks for the reply. I've tried with every possible combination of wiping and not wiping, but no luck, except for a clean install. Not sure if this update is worth doing a clean install.
