You should be able to set a screen-record shortcut in a number of ways: QS tile, nav bar shortcut, and power menu.

Thank you. I had looked under Quick Settings tiles, but never thought of Power Menu. Problem solved. The unsolved mystery is how screen recording got turned on in the first place. Never have needed it, and didn't even realize it was an option. Bizarre.

You probably hit the power button + volume up which will start screen record.

1. You will need to reflash DU without that modified boot.img then the newest SuperSU to get rid of that battery percentage problem since you used an outdated boot.img.
2. Pretty sure that MultiROM has problems with systemless root on secondary ROMs which is why you didn't have root at first.

I've been search High & low for how to get my Pokemon Go to work with Root. This ↑↑ is my issue... DU flashes SU and messup up the process , in which I need a different su flashed later. How do I flash without the modified boot ???? Actually , I know I can just repackage the boot.img that I want into the zip ... it'd be preferably if I could install DU without Supersu ... there a way to do this ?

Find the unsu script... Pull the boot.img from the zip...

Flash unsu... And the image in recovery... Poof... Yer good...

↑↑ YOU...... Are awesome. Isn't quite what I had to do ... but you definitely led me in the right direction.

1. I swapped the Boot.img in the ROM.zip with the stock Boot.img for the MOB31E build. Then I replaced the supersu.zip in the supersu folder with the Phh Superuser ( renamed it "supersu")
2. Flashed the ROM
3. Flash Unsu
4. Reboot
5. Complete initial setup / install Phh Superuser Front end app from Play Store
6. Reboot to Recovery / Flash Magisk v6.zip
7. install Magisk Manager 1.2 / AutoMagisk (find .apk within XDA Magilsk thread )

Do not use the stock boot.img... Use the boot.img from the rom zip...
@NYCHitman1 does some wonderful kernel work... And it's more than 3/4 of the reason I'm on this ROM...

I'm surprised you actually got it to boot...

FYI Magisk will not work any longer. I actually had to give up on Pokemon Go. Love my experience with this ROM. Not worth messing with the ROM just to get access to a game that does not want my money any more. Anyway thanks to the devs of Dirty Unicorns!

FYI Magisk will not work any longer. I actually had to give up on Pokemon Go. Love my experience with this ROM. Not worth messing with the ROM just to get access to a game that does not want my money any more. Anyway thanks to the devs of Dirty Unicorns!

did something change within 4 days?? I used it on Sunday the 2nd and it worked fine! Well.... I can't use it at Macy's for some reason ... but works at Meijers

I had to do a double take when I read this post...lol... I know that it was all in jest but....... Just kidding...
Anyways, we all know that DU is one of those roms that you flash with confidence and it doesn't get that way without testing and even more testing. It's going to all be worth it in the end.
