I merged that commit about system V, as it was an AOSP commit.
I just submitted another AOSP commit about a kernel leak that I need to test before merging. Will publish a build by this week end with those changes.

Just a bit offtopic:
Wikipedia said:
The United States National Security Agency (NSA), the original primary developer of SELinux, released the first version to the open source development community under the GNU GPL on December 22, 2000.

No fear that there is a backdoor for the NSA?

Well, techincally, due to the amount of code in the kernel, and given a lot didn't change for years (need someone to actually look at it), there can be a lot of security flaws and backdoors.
Add to this that a few years ago backdoors got revealed on hardware firmware (the infamous hard drive backdoor firmware).
At this point, for the general consumer, either you live with it, either you turn off everything that contains electronic :p

New build:
omni-6.0.1-20160122-mako-HOMEMADE.zip
Kernel leak fix included, Omni Dialer lookup backport.
Have fun with OmniROM
Homemade build is not a nightly? Just wanna know if wiping system-dalvik-cache is enough or do I do a total factory reset for flashing this?
Also, lemme know if Open-GApps-pico is working (u said u were testing it) :)

I've been waiting for the nightly build since last Wednesday ;)

Unfortunately not nightly yet, some internal issues (Not ROM neither device related) delayed those.
Sorry for the delay for Open gapps results, I actually haven't been able to test those yet because the lack of free time (work + my 5 years old don't make this easy ;) )
I'm in vacations for 3 weeks, I'll be able to test those, just give me a bit more time ( 1 week or so ), I actually need a bit of rest ;)

Thank you very much for the last buil posted!
gonna try it in a few minutes with OpenGapps 'Mini' package, using also a gapps-config script that makes them quite skinny.
Will post the results soon.

Have a nice weekend everyone!

Flashed the latest build and Open GApps pico. (Had to wipe sys-data-dalvik-cache)
Had to go back and forth during the startup Google login (cud be due to connection issue) but once it started running it's all good. Google Play Games works as usual (SkiSafari 2).
AOSP keyboard crashes if I use gesture typing and the NavBar icons are a bit too big for my liking.
Other than that, it's all butter-smooth, no issues so far.

P.S. I love that there's auto-brightness toggle in the QS. Great work man. :D

I'll try to reproduce that AOSP keyboard crash tomorrow, to get a logcat out of it, this shouldn't crash.
NavBar icons, nothing I can do about it there, thing is device is aging, and resolution is actually starting to be a bit low towards new standards. I guess you could use another launcher to suit your needs and linking ;)
I'm not responsible for those nice little features, but I'll transmit the message, i'm sure the dev will be happy to hear people like this :)

Hello folks, nightlies for Nexus 4 just got started, I will do a more exhaustive post later, but I would like you to wait a bit before flashing when it'll be ready to download. I need to test it to make sure it actually works fine, and that nothing got broken in the process.
Thank you all for your patience, i should be able to give you the go-no-go today or tomorrow.

EDIT: Ok the first build couldn't finish. some changes in repos, will be fixed tomorrow :)

EDIT 2: Nightlies need a manual sync, and actually 3 devices have nightlies broken because of this, will be fixed in the coming days, i ask for your patience a little bit more, wait is almost over folks :)

180 degree (upside down) screen rotation isn't working, and the gallery app FCs when try to edit any pic.
Kindly look into those issues :)
Just one quick suggestion... The most recent app in the OmniSwitch appears at the top (up to down), but if it were at the bottom (down to up) near the recents button it'd be easier to switch. I'm going to have to go all the way to the top of the screen to switch apps when I have only few apps in the background or even otherwise :(

I would if I could, screen rotation is working perfectly fine here, you know google now launcher doesn't support screen rotation ? It's planned for a future release, or so i heard, but for now, it's not.
Also make sure your screen rotation isn't disabled.

For suggestions about OmniSwitch, best is to go on irc, and tell maxwen about it.

Yes, I know GNL doesn't support rotation. I use Nova L Prime and I have rotation enabled, and it does rotate to landscape (90 and 270) :)
I'm talking about upside down portrait (180) which isn't working. Well it could be a bug just in my phone, I'm sure it'll work in the nightly build by default. :)

Ah wait, you mean portrait up-side down ? I meant landscape up-side down, which is perfectly working.
Portrait up side down, yes that doesn't turn, but I don't actually remember it ever working ...
I don't even see the point to turn upside down in portrait mode ...
Not much I can do about this, I did run a logcat while testing this, it simply doesn't seem to be supported framework wise, there nothing in the logcat when rotating from landscape to up-side down portrait mode, which means the code doesn't handle it.
