Hello @kldoc, did you find a fix for this or do you still have this issue ?
I replaced the battery twice with no effect on this...

Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for this, device is old, might be an hardware issue. I'm not using my Nexus 4 anymore, I kinda stopped dev on Nexus 4, I am maintaining OnePlus 3 and 3t.

Hello kldoc.

I'm very happy with Omni6 last nightly, it's very stable and fast as Bolt.
I found Omni6 with November Security Update 6.0.1_r74 and decided to install it.
Everything is installed and work fine, but when I try to set Deity Theme (substratum legacy) and do reboot my N4 falls into bootloop. Strange that security patches affect the theme engine.

This is used kernel, Quanta v20 AOSP with September Security Updates

Is the cause may be Quanta Kernel with older ASB? Last August nightly works well with this kernel.
I wonder if I compile the kernel from sources with the latest ASB, Omni6 from November would work?

I have a nightly backup, but I want to try to solve this problem and maybe learn something.

I just wanted to say that I know the reason for bootloops with the latest release of OmniRom 6 named "SECURITY_RELEASE"
Substratum Legacy description from Play Store:

4. Do not apply the Android system overlay after the November security patch or you will have bootloops, heed the bootloop warnings in Substratum

So if someone wants to use themes I suggest to use last nightly from August, everything will work and you can pass SafetyNet.

I finally bought a usb charge connector that could resolve this issue, I hope. I am waiting the delivery and will report back. As I live in reunion island, shipping from china takes 2 months. So the answer will take time...
