This is what I use to install assistant and it works after every flash. Brilliant bit of software.Someone recommended this app which basically backs up your build.prop file and adds some lines to make it work.

You need theme ready Gapps.Hello folks. Since some builds ago, the Google phone /dialer and the whole interface is themed as green.
Knows somebody how could I get back to blue interface instead of this one?
I installed pixel substratum theme that helped to get back the blue theme on UI and system interface but this green color on Google phone is weird and this substratum theme doesn't theme this app....

Try the new update for the 14th. Also clear both caches before installing...

Tried the method you suggested but it didn't work wiping the cache.
I tried installing the update wiping both the caches, system and also data. Then it worked and now I can open ACIP Extra also, but all my installed apps and data has been erased .

Still going to support AICP, just want to give an AOSP based alternative since it seems to run a lot smoother on this device. Some CM stuff causes lag.
