Your device must have the stock Nougat firmware flashed onto your device before you flash this. If you still have the Marshmallow firmware or downgraded to the Marshmallow firmware, you may experience issues with the fingerprint reader if you flash AOKP. Of course, if you have the G4 (no fingerprint reader) then this may not affect you, though generally with custom ROMs you'd likely have less issues if your device is on the latest stock Nougat firmware before flashing.
Advanced data tile doesn't work from quick settings!!!! It works only when whole quick setting panel is pulled and not when pulling down once!

Here is AOKP 7.1 for the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus
Requirements:
- Unlocked Bootloader
- TWRP 3.0.3+ build: Recovery TWRP 3.0.3-n1 for Moto G4
- Lenovo Moto N Firmware (modem & firmware updates required)
How to install:
From stock
- Copy the ROM zip on your phone
- Reboot in TWRP Recovery mode
- Backup your phone!
- Format/Wipe system, cache, dalvik, data
- Flash/Install ROM
- Flash Install Gapps (OpenGapps ARM 7.1 Mini or smaller is recommanded)
- Reboot
Upgrade from previous build
- Copy the ROM zip on your phone
- Reboot in TWRP Recovery mode
- Format/Wipe only cache, dalvik
- Flash/Install ROM new build version
- Reboot

We're going official for athene. For now I will keep building on my own, and when the AOKP will starts nightly builds, athene should be there
Which Gapps are you using ? Can you try with another one like BankS ?
Which variant ? You should have the N firmware as mentionned in first post.
