is it because of the baseband? Can it be fixed if i flash non-hlos.bin from official china miui zip? If so, how to?

no dont try it will not work .and ones try to install miu ui9 global version and check where you are sim is working are not .

the official sources for other devices has little to none anyway since they're already starting Oreo builds, so no more updates unless we're getting kernel sources
this one has no Wifi AP bug. it's essentially bugless

ye, well, it saves the battery, but scrolling during every single app/menu in the phone becomes frustrating.. which for me, made the phone useless. I uninstalled it for redmi 4a/CAF rom.
