I'm on 3/21 build and still getting "Moto Display System Process has stopped" on every boot. Anyone else is noticing this?

Hi I would also like to recommend https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-z/themes/app-battery-mod-percentage-t3575753 for anyone who is using the battery mod. It shows the battery mod percentage separately from the internal battery. Also you can test this zip file from @erfanoabdi it should make moto mods native: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=457095661767148849
I have tested it on AOKP and is working well. Now I can get battery mod percentage and status separately.


Edit: Requires root and works with SELinux enforcing now

Battery mod and JBL audio should be fine.
Camera one might work but need more tests.
Didn't find testers for the projector one

Yes I can confirm that battery mod is working along with the battery mod app.
Also the error "Moto Display System Process has stopped" is now gone

Hi @lollyjay, can you inform if the battery mod is working as Efficiency mode? Or only as normal mod?

Only working in default mode

i tried flashing this rom but when i try to setup the phone it sais "setup wizard has stopped". any ideas?

Projector mod doesnt work, it is detected but projects only startup logo "moto" and doesnt show mods battery percentage.

You can use Matlog or SysLog from PlayStore.

Here is AOKP 7.1.1 for the Moto Z - XT1650

Requirements:
- Unlocked Bootloader
- TWRP 3.0.3+ recovery (I recommend my uptodate version)

How to install:
From stock

1. Copy the ROM zip on your phone
2. Reboot in TWRP Recovery mode
3. Backup your phone!
4. Format/Wipe system, cache, dalvik, data
5. Flash/Install ROM
6. Flash Install Gapps (OpenGapps ARM64 7.1 Mini or smaller is recommanded)
7. Reboot

Upgrade from previous build

1. Copy the ROM zip on your phone
2. Reboot in TWRP Recovery mode
3. Format/Wipe only cache, dalvik
4. Flash/Install ROM new build version
5. Reboot

I will not support custom kernel, so better ask in your Kernel thread or use stock AOKP kernel.

I switched to stock AOKP Kernel
Camera is now working properly, wifi too.
But i cant select srgb mode in developer options

Are Bluetooth working, I tested few custom, all work great but no way that Bluetooth get connected to the Nissan card, Stock work well with Nissan

Same problem as the Pure Nexus Build. Hm.

You can deal with this by always selecting the "cancel option" in the setup - meaning not setting up wifi nor mobile data and so on. Then, after first launch you can add your google account under Settings.
