Now in one particular area. I'm having issues with calling on Jio. I've working internet 30-70 KBPS, but calling fails. Even Jio voice apps shows offline.
I'll check when I get home.

Jio calling working fine at my home. So it's issue with network coverage. In such areas only internet works but no calling even with Jio voice app.

Just an observation:
Can anyone tell why AOSP and RR ROMs have more comments than Lineage (5.5 k vs 4.1k) but Lineage thread has more views?
Are more people eager to try Lineage or people don't comment much because the ROM is stable?

Is the ROM signed?

What I basically want to learn is if the Device is labelled as certified in the playstore

Hello, I'm using a MediaTek CPU, and there's a problem with it?
I was caught out by buying a Mediatek version of the Redmi Now 4X, and sadly it has much poorer custom ROM support.

You should check for "Redmi note 4 mediatek nikel" and you will find some threads. The usable ROMs seem to be based on MIUI, with Xiaomi 'extras' removed and some tuning added.

Installing a recovery is fairly straight forward once it hits you that you need a nikel (Mediatek) version of twrp.

Hi, I've been using this ROM for a while and it works like a charm I'm very happy with it. However there is one bug thats kinda bugging me and I wonder if anyone else has it too. When I use headphones, and I press the play/pause button, the phone reboots.. very strange.

I hope that this bug report may be useful
Thanks

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7 (nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.
