As far as I know, gapps includes a "survival script" to keep the apps installed between updates so no need to flash again your gapps when you OTA update or dirty flash.
At least that's how it works with OpenGapps

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7 (nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. No.... and not quite. The official maintainer is not "maintaining" anything anymore but a few other individuals are doing some commits for our device. Not major stuff, but there is some activity at least. I installed today's update hours ago, no issues for me.

You need to flash fastboot update using MiFlash. Follow instructions from here.

That link only includes latest rom versions (already on Nougat for Mido, whether stable or developer), You need to search other specific version if you want to go back to marshmallow.

Haha.. They are just mentioning which devices come with locked bootloader, if your device is unlocked you won't face any problem. Happy flashing

I have tried the ported Google Camera but unfortunately it doesn't have manual focus and frame rate seems to be locked at 60fps.

Hello everyone,

I have a strange problem after successfully flashing my new Mido.

Apps seem to work ok all over, but I can't copy files to the internal memory from my computer using USB in MTP mode or using ADB push. What happens is after a fraction of the file arrives the copy fails and a 0 byte long file shows up in file explorer.

Finally, I got my file in place (a new MP3 file as a ringtone) using Bluetooth, the file even plays well in Music, but I cannot play it in ES music player and I cannot set it as a ringtone, because when I select it, the system says the file is in the wrong format.

Been using this phone for over a month now, and this seems to be the only issue I'm facing.

Nope dude... There are options available. U can select clean all to avoid locking bootloader
