for point 4, in displays you can set a smaller screen size, not just font to get it feeling more like miui. and from the homepage widgets settings you can set it to confortable, it will make the icons smaller... it's what i did when i switched from miui

for point2 it's been debated for quite some time... ended up catalogued as feature not bug, you want as much light as possible when using the torch so setting the secondn led makes more light. there's a couple of fixes available as zip files to change this behavior. btw, if you use the lineage downloader app you can flash deltas and auto add extra zips to flash, such as custom kernels or extra fixes that aren't built in. pretty nifty that!

Notification led is not because of firmware. Its newborn bug which came in february with change of led driver... But I hope that mainteiner will fix it soon or at least roll back to old driver in next build

hi gents, I have a question about Bluetooth audio. I play games with this Mi Bluetooth Audio Receiver. When my phone was running MIUI 9, the sound quality was OK, but when I switched to Lineage yesterday, the audio quality improves so much. I thought I heard a loud explosion somewhere nearby, but then I realize that was the sound effect of the game I was playing! Very realistic.

May I ask what causes the improvement in Bluetooth sound quality? Is there some Bluetooth audio standard that Lineage support but not by MIUI?

ok thanks. i got it. After flashing firmware in twrp i by mistake also wiped cache/dalvik. Can there be any problems?

It looks like the auto rotation is fixed.

Wouldn't be so sure. There weren't any problems on my phone after the update. At least a few people also reported no problems with update. So maybe the firmware version make the difference?

I have no problem using stock kernel. The problem is due to incompatibility between the rom and custom kernel. Firmware has nothing to do with that.

I have no problem using stock kernel. The problem is due to incompatibility between the rom and custom kernel. Firmware has nothing to do with that.

I am using Stock Kernel with no root.. and the LED is perfect.. I have not experienced any type of problems.. Its even better than the previous Builds..

Question: Does anyone know a software that can record calls, working with this OS? All programs that I test, can record my voice but ignore the other one. On my other phones (motog 3) the programs work just fine.

Camera Bug report:
1) If I try to record in slowmotion, it fail, but if I change resolution to 480p, record a clip, and then change the resolution again to 1080p, it start to work.
2) HDR does not work (the icon is on grey). But if I go to the front camera, and then switch back to main camera, HDR start to work.
3) You can notice a illuminated horizontal zones that goes from the top to the bottom, like a refresh problems.

and some day ago update this firmware with latest miui9-beta with baseband versions xxx...1.13...xxx and this led work perfectly

It is not the firmware. Apparently, there are different versions of the LED controller in RN4s - just like cameras, or LCDs. The aw2013 HAL works 100% OK with some of them and breaks with others.

I got a problem with the LED too.
When I'm charging it, it works. (Red, yellow, green)
But custom notifications for apps don't work at all. When trying to set a color it doesnt even show it. Well sometimes it lights up but wrong color.
I'm on Stock Kernel and newest Firmware.
