camera (still) doesn't work

I tried flashing the latest RR version posted above (5.8.5-20180420) and I'm getting the same error...

I know for a fact the camera worked fine before flashing the custom ROM, so it's not a hw failure.

Any help, please?

It's a mediaserver issue. Either kill mediaserver every time it occurs or
Go to /system/vendor/firmware on your phone and copy all files starting with "Slim blah blah blah". Paste them to your /data/cfw folder

RR-N-v5.8.5-20171206-n7100-Final

Hello from Prague, CZ! From the last week I am on RR-N-v5.8.5-20171206-n7100-Final, device GT-N7100 global version. ROM seems nice and working perfectly, only one issue I am not able to improve: the sound of built-in loudspeaker (not the earpiece !) is too weak now, comparing with the sound before. It was very very loud with the stock ROM. I suppose the sound has something to do with the file /etc/sound/t03g ... I have increased the value in speaker section from 59, but the only effect was no sound. In addition, it will be helpful to increase headphones out output as well, on hi-dynamic recordings is the (average) possible level low as well. Does anybody have some idea to improve those two things - speaker and earphone out volume? On stock Samsung ROM (rooted) that was very simple to do by text-editing the respective file ... Thanks a lot in advance !!!

Hi! I used your rom, and it very smoothies and fast, but a few days ago, I wake up and see my phone auto reboot and stuck at logo screen. I tried get into TWRP but seem everything in storage disappear. Please support me.

I think this is a serious problem with ROM which has gone unnoticed and unfixed. The same thing happened with my phone too. The memory became corrupt and no matter what I tried I couldn't recover it. I had to eventually replace the motherboard to get my phone working again.

This ROM has a problem which causes random reboots and then one of the times you will eventually encounter the problem you have explained and shown in your youtube video. The devs needs to look into it.
