Yup only stock camera app has issues, just install any camera app from the play store.
And the only one "late" in the game is Moto. You should thankful to developers for giving us such beautiful ROMs.
Rather than just complaining, you should point out the issues with the ROM with a log.

Came back a bunch of versions later to try 3.6.2 and for the life of me, I cannot figure out why I have such massive Bluetooth battery drain. Coming from LineageOS, clean flashed this, turned on BT, took off charger and didn't connect to anything and after like 15 minutes Bluetooth says 4% battery usage with only Screen showing up with it at just 1%. I was under the impression that just being enabled but not connected to anything wasn't going to drain my battery that much.

As an FYI, this is the type of performance I see with BT enabled, not paired or connected to anything at all.

Something seems very wrong.

I am grateful to the developers but this is the only rom I've tried that, at this point, still has a stock camera app that crashes. Even when I try other third party camera apps they still have crashes from time to time but the moto camera is the most reliable. Don't get me wrong, I do love this rom and I personally prefer aosp/caf based ROMs over lineage os based. Just wondering why at this point everything isn't working out of the box like the others, that's all.

Unfortunately, all have at least one issue. But alot of folks aren't really bothered by it. by either using alternative methods to fix them or using third party apps usually fixes said issues. But not all.

I've had GREAT success with LineageOS. The camera it comes with is a tad finnicky, but removing it and installing the Moto Camera and everything is fine. Opens instantly.

I WISH I COULD USE CYPHEROS... but I seem to be the only Moto X Pure owner who has massive Bluetooth battery drain when its enabled.

Is anybody having this issue, where if you turn the screen off, it won't turn back on, like ever.

Is currently happening to me. If I turn it off, it'll never turn back on. I waited a couple hours, no dice. Is it just my device specific issue or do I need to do something to fix it?

So far, haven't installed any apps at all.

i have installed this ROM on a few devices and of all of them only the X Pure has issues. the screen is one of them. it just seems to die for whatever reason. my brother is the X Pure user and he is starting to hate his phone.

According to posts on the Google+ group... looks like there is no longer a maintainer for CypherOS on the Pure and this thing seems to be dead. Disappointing as I love the stock-ness of this ROM... but always had an issue.

Was loving this ROM until I couldn't unlock my phone. I'd put in the pin and hit okay and it would just sit there and not get past the pin. Also, clicking the settings icon in quick settings pull down would do nothing, camera is still buggy opening, chop for flashlight is finicky (vibrates like it's going to turn on and doesn't), and apps hang and lag like crazy. I have had similar issues with all of the nougat roms and i always end up uninstalling them. I think they're doing a great job with what's given but they are not ready for daily drivers IMO.
You have to realize these issues you face, no one else on other devices face. This isn't a ROM issue. This is a device tree issue. Clark doesn't have any nougat support from Motorola atm. So everything getting your device to run is pure hackery so to speak. Developers can only do so much when updating devices to run a software it was never intended to run.

Literally every issue you've just reported (With no logcat ;) ) doesn't happen on the 5x, 6p, op3 and other devices.

Maybe it's because of this wining that people move away. I wasn't bashing anyone's work and I've been flashing ROMs for quite a while. I just expressed my opinion. It's a free world.
If one of your friends worked tirelessly to buy the vehicle him or her wanted would you tell them they should have bought brand x? It's not about freedom of speech it's etiquette.
