@forkbomb444 seems to me that nightly from 12.24. fixed the a2dp dropouts, at least for me, just was listening to music in my car for 20min without a single stutter.

@forkbomb444 Unfortunately, it is not :( After a day it is back (in my case) . As reboot always helps with this - is it a way to restart bluetooth without full reboot? It may be a nice work arround, until fix...
Anything can be done from my side to help debug of this?

I think forkbomb444 asked for logcats for problems. I am sure it would help the CM team.

@forkbomb444 hello ! First of all Merry christmas to you! You made a great job with this rom. As in 5.1.1 there is low volume on speaker. If i modify the volume from boeffla sound it will became disorted. So any way to increase speaker (ringer volume) like on stock sammy 4.3 ? Thank you very much!

Okay, I've done a clean flash on 12/25 nightly build.
Flashlight is unable to use from toggle, and screen rotation works backward.
However, this might be the problem caused by my device being korean model, so I'm currently asking other Korean model users too.
Anyways, I'll attach logcats. The first one is when I toggled flashlight, and the second one is when I rotated the screen.

Live display automatic mode is woking nicely on 24th nightly. I can get rid of blue light filter finally. Kudos for the hard work @forkbomb444. This indeed feels a tad more snappier than cm12.1 with zero issues with camera.
Could you add a quick setting tile for live display like on cm12?

Edit - found it.

Korean model? Do you mean SHW M440S ? Or other models except i9300 ?
If yes, all your reported problem is useless.
This ROM only for i9300 models.

LTE model(SHV-E210 variants).
Yeah, I guess so.... Well, I should just bear those problems until someone port this :crying:
(It's kinda surprising that without any modification this rom boots on SHW-M440S and SHV-E210 variants)

Mobile data fix

Hey guys I see there is a lot of speak over mobile data needs reboot to work so I put my whole experience using Mobile data and I'm sure it will work as I live in a country with bad signal and I always do tricks to turn my data on.
1. The first way is to turn airplane mode on and off once.
2. Next you can dial *#*#4636#*#* in your dialer app it will open the testing menu( only works in CM) then from there go to phone information and then you will find an arrow that can switch to wcdma only(usually when I have problems with data I switch to wcdma only).
3. If the above didn't work there likely to be a bug that I'm sometimes face. My phone will stuck on HSDPA and won't switch to HSPAP then you press the turn off radio button(it's almost the same as the airplane mode but worked better for me) and then turn it on again.
4. Check your APN and remove the proxy from the stock APNs and don't delete stock APNs cause I had a bug in alpha builds that with removing stock APNs the data won't turn on anyway. Not sure if already in nightlies or not.
5. Check your data plan!?! My friends sometimes come to me and say we can't turn the data on and then will figure out that their plan is over?!?
6. If non of above methods worked take logcats and report a bug in CM13 official thread.
Thank me if I helped you:good:

@forkbomb444 I have a bug in builds from 23 to 25 that when I reboot on 2g mode and then reboot I will go on 3g mode but in setting it still shows the toggle on 2g and I have to switch the toggle to 3g and again switch to 2g to go back again to 2g mode or simply use testing mode. I'm not sure how to take logcats after a full reboot if they are needed tell me how to do so.
Can anyone try and confirm this?

Hi, all. First of all, Merry Christmas! Second, i am using CM 13.0.2015.12.17 Nightly version and cannot update anymore via CM updates menu (like i used to, before the CM 13). I can see the available updates, i can download them but when the phone reboots to install the updates it fails somehow (i can see the picture with the robot down for a sec only - no error messages) Ideas, please? Thank you kindly.

    Installation
(NOTE: if you experience robotic voice during calls: see the FAQ for a fix)
First time CyanogenMod 14.1 installation on your Galaxy S III:
    • Read the official Wiki page
    • Flash a custom recovery via Heimdall or Odin
    • Push GApps (arm) and the CM 14.1 zip to your device
    • Boot into Recovery
    • Perform factory reset
    • Flash the CM 14.1 zip from SD card
    • Flash GApps from SD card
    • Reboot
Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod (even from 13.0) :
    • Update your recovery - CM Recovery will be done automatically, TWRP can be downloaded from here (NOTE: you need 3.0.2-2 to automatically install updates in CM14.1)
    • Push the new CM 14.1 zip to your SD card
    • Boot into Recovery
    • Flash the CM 14.1 zip from SD card
    • Flash the most recent GApps for 7.1 if you are upgrading from earlier android version
    • Reboot

    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
    • If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues or bugs reported in the lastest 5 pages of this thread. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

    FAQ

    Robotic voice during calls?
Make sure you're on the I9300XXUGMK6 modem. Instructions are here

    Root?
CM ships with root, enable developer options and look in Settings -> Developer options -> root access

    Google camera crashes?
Use Google Camera from the play store, not from gapps

There's a non-device related bug? - such as SystemUI crashes triggered by performing a certain action, stray settings entries, theme crashes, translation, etc.
I just work on the device support - not something I'll fix.

Something that worked in the last nightly doesn't work in the new nightly? - bootloops? Something new is broken? It can all go here.
    Quick, to the bug tracker!

    Some other issue?
You can't just say 'x is broken!' and expect me to magically find the bug and fix it.
    Here's what I need:
    1. Steps to reproduce - I don't care if "it's simple". I want to know exactly what you were doing at the time of the bug. How'd it happen? Does it only happen on Tuesdays when watching a specific YouTube video? Include it *all*
    2. What happened - in what way is this *not* the expected behaviour? Don't just say "it didn't play/upload/whatever". Did the entire phone crash? Did it show an error? Did it just show an endless progress indicator? Again, I need specifics here.
    3. Logcat/last_kmsg - Include the whole thing please, and if your phone's been running for a while, give me a rough region of time when the issue happened. Use last_kmsg if your device reboots unexpectedly, otherwise use a logcat. (See below for info on how to get them)

    How to logcat?
See here (read up to the end of the "logcat" section).
Upload it to a pastebin, include the link in your bug report.

or if you're on your phone and can't get to a computer:

I'd like to provide logs for problems I'm reporting, but I can't sit by my computer all the time ...

If you install a terminal (this one works nicely) and type this:
    Code:
    su
then, accept the superuser prompt, and type
    Code:
    logcat -d > /sdcard/logcat.txt
it should save a logcat at /sdcard/logcat.txt. You can change the filename, and it will overwrite whatever exists already at /sdcard/logcat.txt

    How to get last_kmsg?
Copy /proc/last_kmsg and upload the file contents to a pastebin, include the link to that in your bug report
    72
Flickering should be fixed in the next nightly.

    Hi!

    CM 14.1 is coming!

    Upgrading to CM14.1
    1. Backup
    2. Update TWRP to version 3.0.2-2 - download it here
    3. Flash new CM
    4. Flash new GApps

You will need the updated TWRP to automatically take *any* updates (i.e. by using the "update" button in the ROM) starting from the next build - you can safely install the next update with your current TWRP.

If you don't update TWRP, you'll have to manually install all updates.

    Hey,

I intend to keep working on i9300 for Lineage. There's not much else to say at the moment, but keep an eye on the website for more updates.
