I previously also faced this issue. Whenever i boot up the phone & go in settings, it just get stuck. I again clean flashed it. Problem remains. After few minutes it loads settings

Go to Configurations>Buttons>Hardware keys> and select Google Now on tap for your desired key action. Hope it helps

You might know that I've sold z1 and hence I'm not actively developing for it. And I've been on vacations lately. Hence I didn't get time to implement anything.

I flashed the 5.8.4 zip and it is not booting. It is stuck on the ZUK screen.
I had to revert to 5.8.3 vía twrp backup.

Me too. It reboots continuously to Fastboot mode and cant boot. I have to roll back to 5.8.3

. only device specific change i need is in camera....else all can be compromised or is not important....but camera need attention
