There was a massive difference in audio before and after may, this will kill all sound on pie.
On stock Pie it muted all notification sounds. But now I tested it on LOS 15.1 as well and unfortunately it breaks ALL sound. :crying: Guess it works only on stock, which means all that work I did yesterday was for nothing, need to go back to stock anyway.
Was fun on Lineage while it lasted But I blame Xiamo for ruining a perfectly good phone with retarded updates.

I just have install this room last night, I can call my phone to all people but I can't hear anything.

I am thinking of buying Xiaomi Mi A1. How does it look with OFFICIAL Lineage OS support? Will it last for a long time?

Will I need to install Oreo Stoke rom before install the lineageOS 15.1 right ?
Xiaomi Mi A1 is a great phone. Official LineageOS 16 is coming very soon, also this phone is like a Nexus in rom development. There are plenty of roms to choose, even MIUI! Also, Official LineageOS will be very stable, developer builds very stable unofficial builds right now.Hello!

MicroG is supported in LineageOS 16. But I don't know about LineageOS 15.1.

I have been using LineageOS 15.1. with MicroG for months as I prefer my phone without google services / apps. Working flawlessly, including weekly updates. Battery life and SOT are great as well.

Check your security patch level or build number to find out. If you want to install LOS 15.1, you should be on November security patch, or build number V9.6.8.0.ODHMIFE.
Thanks, I have Lineage 15.1, but it seems I have to update firmware because now I can't connect to voice network, only 4G. I had Lineage 15.1 from March 13th, and build number: OPM7.181205.001

I flashed 13march build today...The speaker output is weird not clear like when i was in oreo nov patch...is there any fix??

8.1 Custom ROM Flashing Guide:
1. Flash ROM zip
2. Go to Twrp reboot options and switch to another slot (ex. if you are on slot_a then switch to slot_b)
*Do not reboot*
3. Flash latest Twrp installer
4. Reboot into Twrp recovery
5. Flash latest Magisk + gapps zip (platform ARM64 + Android 8.1 + Variant (all gapps will work))
6. Reboot to system
