Wow, that is wonderful and promising!
Would be nice if you can give us a flashable zip for changing to unofficial. Thanks in advance!!!Here you have the latest 15.1 build with October security patch

The link above will be alive/online for about a month.

It's my build using the official tree - clean and safe. Just pure Lineage 15.1 with nothing added.
You can do dirty flash if your base was the official lineage 15.1. Ofcourse, if u want to do clean install, go ahead. But before you dirty flash THIS build over the "official 15.1" - read below!!
According to the lineageos wiki, u need to change the sign keys before making the switch from official build to the unofficial - WHUAAATTTT????
It's very simple - the way without PC :
!!!!U need to have root access on the device (Magisk installed or else)!!!!
1) Download this file on the mido device:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/LineageOS/scripts/master/key-migration/migration.sh
2) Open the Terminal Emulator app (from F-Droid)
https://f-droid.org/en/packages/jackpal.androidterm/
3) Write the command: su
the Superuser window will appear, accept it.
4) Write the command: chmod +x /place/to/file/migration.sh
5) Write the command: sh /place/to/file/migration.sh unofficial
Done. You can dirty flash the rom from Recovery.
F.A.Q:
DO you become the new mido maintainer??
No. I'm just the builder.
WOULD you build the 15.1 rom every month?
Currently i don't have the proper PC (CPU, storage, ram), so it's doubtful. I've builded this rom on the VPS - and it was pain in the ass, because the VPS was also lacking a power. And buying stronger VPS only for the mido device.... yea, it isn't worth the money - seriously.
EDIT:
I uploaded the build to the archive.org, fixed the url's (i can now add the outside links into my posts)
EDIT2:
The process of changing sign keys (official to unofficial) it's reversible. The steps from 1-4 are the same, only the step 5 is different:
Write the command: sh /place/to/file/migration.sh official
This way, if the official build of lineage will ever come back, you can dirty flash it over this unofficial build.
Okay guys so finally dropping of mido
Will provide last update
For Pe, Pe plus (pie), Pe Q, Los at end of this month

Hey, what does this merged status mean?
What is "Lineage OS Gerrit" page?

My mido is partially broken, so I've dropped the idea long ago.

Would it be possible to dirty flash if over Anderson Mendes' version?
Would it be possible to dirty flash if over Anderson Mendes' version?
I can confirm its working for me too. Do a Backup - Safety 1st :fingers-crossed:
Is that really necessary? I didn't need to flash anything going from 15.1 official to 16 anderson mendes (apart from the rom itself ang gapps).
Did you flash the lineage-migration-unofficial-to-official.zip or just the rom?

Fantastic! Thank you so much to everybody who contributed to this.
1. Could somebody give step-by-step instructions how to migrate from official mido LOS 15.1 to official LOS 16.0 for users with basic knowledge like me? Hopefully the settings, apps and data can be preserved. The official installation guide seems not to address it but just instruct how to do a fresh install.
2. Will there be a new xda-forum for the 16.0 Official or will this forum be the place to discuss 16.0 questions?
Thanks again!
