Mmh, after a reboot they doesn't even show in the list but when I try to install a google camera it says it's an update then it fails "application not installed"![]()
Yes, but I cannot reinstall them:
I could install HyperCamara but only because it recognizes it as a new app. Any other google cam it sees as an update but then the installation fails.
Is the goodix fingerprint sensor working?
Or will it not boot, if the device had goodix sensor?
In official why battery and time icons on status bar are aligned away from the edges, any way to fix it?
Did you flash the lineage-migration-unofficial-to-official.zip or just the rom?
I do also have Pixel2mod camera installed and it is working after the official LOS16 dirty flash. I hope uninstalling and reinstalling the camera apk will solve your problem.
I hope you have a backup.
Then you can restore the backup + uninstall camera apps. Dirty flash again + install camera should work. Its not very elegant but I have no other idea at the moment.
The problem is, after a reboot I have no way to uninstall (the app isn't listed), and when I try to install it says it's an update and it fails. Clearly there are some remnants of the apps that I don't know how to remove.
pm list packages -u | grep GoogleCamera
pm uninstall com.google.android.GoogleCamera
pm uninstall com.google.android.CameraRN4X
pm uninstall com.google.android.Pixel2Mod
2. Will there be a new xda-forum for the 16.0 Official or will this forum be the place to discuss 16.0 questions?
No but I solved the problem with "pm" (as superuser in a terminal).
First I searched for the (half uninstalled) package name with, e.g.
Code:pm list packages -u | grep GoogleCamera
then I completely uninstall the packages with
Code:pm uninstall com.google.android.GoogleCamera pm uninstall com.google.android.CameraRN4X pm uninstall com.google.android.Pixel2Mod
and then I could install the new google camera :good:
Based on my experience.
1. Download new 16.0 for mido, download gapps for Pie
Boot to twrp, wipe dalvik, cache, system, and vendor
Dont wipe data
Flash rom and gapps
Wipe dalvik cache again, and reboot
Its fine.
