As you've stated, I'm too running the same os and see no difference in battery discharge, i meant to say that battery backup is decent for me, and faced no issues related to call or connectivity as you've said.

Did you update the vendor firmware or just install AEX? I think, maybe it is a vendor problem?

Yes i did update the firmware during installation, though I'm having some other issues, like i can't install or update certain apps like google app, firefox browser.

2. The quality of the sound transmitted over cellular connection is bad. The interlocutor hears me very badly. But I hear the interlocutor very well. It is sounds like a poor cell signal level or a long distance from a cell base station. It is not a microphone problem, microphone works well in all other applications, like messengers or dictaphones. And it is not a problem of SIM/Cell network/etc. I tried another SIM card and got the same problem. My network connection is LTE or H/H+ during the phone call.

I found a workaround to this problem. In /system/build.prop change "ro.vendor.audio.sdk.fluencetype=fluence" to "ro.vendor.audio.sdk.fluencetype=none".
My voice is much cleaner now, and interlocutors can hear and understand me very well.
But here now a new problem - echo. Especially in the loud speaker mode. The interlocutor hears his own voice.

How to fix echo? Where I can read about ro.vendor.audio.sdk.fluencetype, fluence.speaker, fluence.voicecall and other audio/microphone parameters?

Very good you had find a way to help yourself for the low sound issue but I haven't used that kind of method to change anything in my device in fear of messing up, so it seems I don't have any answer for you regarding your echo issues.

Second thing,
Does that magenta thing always visible on your app drawer or is it sometimes visible, try changing your launcher.

Oh yeah I see those patches are snippet of your wallpaper visible through your launcher.
So had you tried changing your settings back to normal, I mean the things which you had changed for your low sound call issue (build.prop), i think you might have made some mistakes there.

Same i have experienced, this graphics glitch is present on all pixel based launchers (lawnchair, stock, etc), I am on the latest firmware and stock rom. Although non pixel based launchers such as Microsoft launcher has no issues.

For people getting low battery life i have seen the stock governer/kernel not letting the cpu go in deep sleep 625mhz mode, most of the time the cpu speed is around 1 to 2 ghz, even in screen off. One fix for it is to download 'kernel auditor' app from play store and set the cpu governor to 'ondemand'. I have not seen any noticeable lag and battery has increased extra 3 hrs on screen off.


FIX FOR GRAPHICAL GLITCHES: in developer options enable 'force GPU rendering' and 'hw overlay' and there are no ugly GLITCHES in app drawer.

I need help, my status bar is 100% transparent when i pull down in full screen mode, how to make it like 50% transparent? I can't see anything when my screen is white, same as the status bar item.
How to fix it? Please help me.

Sim indicators gone from status bar

I have been using AEX 6.7 (latest available) on my vince for about a week or so now. Very happy with the performance and battery life.

But couple of days ago I noticed that the sim/signal/network indicators from status bar have vanished. I have 2 sims and until some point both sim 1 and sim 2 used to show up in the status bar as expected. And now both are gone. I don't what I did or if I did anything at all.

Both sims work, I can make/get calls, send/get texts, use data. Just that the indicators are no more there.

1. Settings->Extensions->Status bar has everything enabled (Mobile Data specifically)
2. I installed "UI Tuner launcher" to expose the "System UI Tuner" menu which also has everything enabled.
3. Turned phone off and on.
4. Ejected sim tray, took out sims and re-popped back in. Both in turned-on state and turned-off state.

Short of factory resetting, I have done everything. Please tell me how to get those damn icons back!!
