Anyone could test the AOD brightness ? In past version it was way too bright, even when setting the brightness to absolute minimum the AOD was bright. After unlock the brightness setting reverted to approx. 30%...

I tried NFC with Android Beam which worked, but at the payment terminal it's still not working, the connection bar on the terminal is just fluttering up and down. Since NFC wasn't mentioned in the changelog I wasn't expecting anything but the successful Beam connections got my hopes up.

Dirty flash from PE Aug to PE Sept Plus - Zero problems all working perfect and loving the dark mode, Thanks Devs - I flashed Okitavera latest kernel to see if black screen on calls was fixed but ididnt recieve a phone call yet today lol

Coming from Xenon HD rom, i clean installed the rom. Now im stuck on the bootanimation. Any help?

Edit:
ok so wiping vendor, system, data , cache and then reinstalling vendor and rom fixed it.

Yes, it's an old issue. You have 2 options to solve it: install Okita (or Kowalski) Kernel or disable fingerprint unlock.

Thanks for the clarification. I knew about the custom kernel fix, but not about disabling the fingerprint. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't something else I was missing.

OK together, I tested the newest version for a short time - unfortunately there are still some annoying little things left, but for me they mean a knockout:

- AOD is much too bright
- The brightness is regulated much too hectically
- "Android Auto " screen dead after use

Very pleasing is that the fingerprint recognition is faster than in the last release.

Maybe we'll get some bugs fixed in the near future.

I'm experiencing Bluetooth problems with several devices. They connect fine at first but after about 15 minutes they get disconnected. The phone still shows it's connected and as such won't automatically reconnect.

All right, I'll probably get a bad image with some people because of that decision but I have no choice.

Unfortunately and sadly I'm having to stop the development for Mi 9 SE from my end. Please don't start pointing the finger at me and saying s*** like "Oh you're a ****ing scammer, you didn't give long enough support for the device" and stuff like that. I'm not having time to give attention for both devices, the enough proof is the time that took me to do the lastest release for Grus.

Don't get me wrong, I'd really like to do give longer support for the device. Even already did something regarding an Android 10 bringup on the device trees (it bootlooped of course ) and implemented FOD stuff in the test source of PixelExperience 10, but as I'm getting a new job now (for receiving a salary), plus the collage, I had to took a decision, plus everything that I promised, which was bringing up the device source and releasing PE officially for it, I did, I kept my promises. So yeah, this it.

If anyone feels in the right to, just contact me and I'll find a way to return the money of the crowdfunding donation as soon as possible.

All my source, even the test/WIP/unfinished ones are public at my github and PE-Devices org if anyone interested to look and built PE by yourself.
