Unfortunately, there has not been much progress concerning the main issues for amami oreo (network, camera).
I'm planning to release a new test build soon though, considering there have been lots of changes ROM-side since the last build.
Wow! Thanks for this ROM! Works great on my Z1 Compact D5503.For me the recovery is not working (not from reboot). I trun off the phone, press the Volume Up, Orange led pops up, and restart.
To reach recovery, either
- Turn your device off, press and hold volume down while powering on
or
- Press a volume button during splash screen when the notification led lights up
(given that you have installed real recovery, as described in the flash instructions)
Camera has been partly fixed for oreo!
We have now working flashlight (torch functionality), and can take photos with some apps (not including the inbuilt one, but e.g. OpenCamera or Footej camera).
Video recording is broken as well.

when will be first release?
I have it built already (and it boots fine) but I have to find time to add the same features as in my Xperia Z2 release, I'm quite busy nowadays, it will come for sure.

Last updated means the post has been changed, there hasn't been a new Nougat build
No more updates for Nougat. Developers are now focusing on Oreo. But I think this Nougat ROM is excellent.
No issues with Camera,Wifi,Mobile Data, and Apps. I would like to make a Sony Xperia Nougat ROM with these files. But I need the developers permission.guys, this phone make me sick.

than a have dual TWRP 2.8.7.0 and i make that:
in TWRP
- full wipe (dalvik, cach, system, data)
- instal AICP-n7.1_amami_20180113_1611.zip (2 lines in red - "wrong command" or something)
- install open_gapps-arm-7.1-nano-20180304.zip
everything look's good but....
after reboot the phone is bricked, screen has artifacts!
completly not response, not booting to system, twrp or stock recovery.
i can only enter to FLASHMODE and make it from the beginning....
any ideas?

You should first update to latest stock rom to get real recovery. Of course you need an unlocked bootloader. With the EMMA tool from Sony you can directly update an unlocked phone to latest lollipop.

- how to root this stock, possible to make it via rootkit?

The latest stock for Z1c is 14.6.A.1.236. You can flash stock ftf via flashtool.
Then root any well known method, read this. If you have unlocked bootloader, you can flash twrp from fastboot.
Yes, you can flash AICP with gapps. I suggest pico gapps for smooth experience.

Then you have real recovery. If you never updated to an official Sony Lollipop you do not have it! And you need it!

i did everything that you said, but...
still artifacts after flashing AICP + gapps (fresh downloaded) and bricked z1c
I think I should forget about AICP, only stock
maybe phone is damaged?
but on stock phone is flying

If you want a fully functional ROM, use Nougat.
If you want the most up-to-date ROM and can live with some issues like e.g. no video recording, use the preview Oreo builds.
I can not give any ETA about when (or even if) Oreo will become good enough for official builds.

Android Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, the Rom has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
With the rebrand of CM to LineageOS (LAOS) we are now actually LAOS based with some tweaks from AOSP.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out or LAOS team, if it concerns their code base. This rom isn't LAOS supported, so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

If you experience a black screen in some apps (e.g. in Youtube or in camera app), please go to Developer options and enable "Disable HW overlays". Alternatively, you can also add a quick setting for this setting after having enabled developer settings. This setting is not persistent, so you will have to set it after each boot!

The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android Nougat. You don't need to install any Add-Ons, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
How to flash:
(Again: Don't do it if you don't know it!)
Make sure you have real recovery!
Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device
Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended)
Wipe system, Cache, data and ART/Dalvik cache
Flash ROM Zipfile
Flash/Install GApps (optional, needed for e.g. Google Playstore to work)
Flash/Install the root solution of choice (optional)
Reboot to system
The ROM has GApps persistance in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every OTA update (= ROM Update)!
Supported root solutions:
Magisk v13.x
SuperSU - stable and beta available (Site by CCMT that took over the the marketing from chainfire)
SuperSU - direct download link for the latest SuperSU directly from the dev (chainfire)
Lineage SU-addon (check your needed version: 14.1 arm or arm64) -> the removal zip is available here too.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash using the buildin OTA app that needs TWRP recovery installed to work.
You can still use LAOS recovery and OTA app, but you will need to download the zip file and flash it manually from within your recovery. Zip gets saved in the "AICP_ota" folder on your internal storage.
Please be sure that you are on the latest TWRP recovery.

It's a test build, has some issues and is probably not ready for daily use, so make a backup before trying out12WiFi issue fixed.
New test build is up; if no severe bugs are found, next official build will be based on 3.4 kernel!12
Camera is getting better, currently downloading new binaries to see how much improvement they bring.
Didn't upload a new build yet because progress is slow and probably nobody except for me would use it yet either way.
I also plan on updating 6.0 once more if/when the camera fully works again.8Hi guys,
I have an idea how we could solve the camera issue. I've found a phone, called Wileyfox Storm, which has the same camera sensor (Sony IMX220) as the Z1C. And as far as I know, this Wileyfox phone has completely working nougat rom.
