Android Ice Cold Project​

AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!

Until Lollipop,the rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.

If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

The rom should contain everything you need to enjoy nougat. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.


How to flash:
1. Download ROM and Gapps and transfer to device
2. Boot into recovery (TWRP recommended)
3. Wipe the system, cache, data, and dalvik cache
4. Install ROM
5. Install Gapps
7. Reboot to system

As some of you may know I was more active in mm, I got a new phone recently so I've been ignoring my L90, but I'd really hate to see this great device die, and I like a challenge so here I am. Don't ask for any eta's, it's really annoying, if I have one I'll give it to you. Now let's keep this device alive ;)

Before using the ROM:
Q. Can I have an ETA for the next official build?
A. Yes, the next official release will be on Wednesday around 6:00am (Eastern time)​

Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports while using it as Xposed can cause a lot of bugs.

Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A. Xposed is not yet available for nougat, however when it is ready you will need to use the version arm sdk 25.

Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the install instructions in the first post..

Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, however make a nandroid first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs, also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.

Q. How do I dirty flash builds?
A. Wipe the system, cache, and dalvik cache, flash the ROM, gapps, and reboot.

Using the ROM:
Q. How do I enable software buttons?
A. Go to settings/Navigation


Q I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip in the substratum folder in the internal storage.

Q. Do I need to provide a log if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a log.

Q. How do I get a logcat, and what type should I get, and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?

Am I right thinking You have plan to make this rom official? I use it on my flo device, it would be great to have the same rom on phone.

Changes:
1. fixed some bugs
2. improved performance
3. added the pixel home button animation (disabled by default, you can enable it in settings/navigation/Smartbar settings/Button touch animation)

We were approved for official support, so the first official build will be soon
