Development [ROM][OFFICIAL][alioth][13] LineageOS 20 for POCO F3/Mi 11X/Redmi K40

Two things I'm not sure of if they're ROM related:

1. Where can I find the "put the connection speed in the notification bar" option?
2. Is there a way to get the original camera app running? The standard LOS one doesn't let me use the full 48MP of the main camera...

Does the .zip file from https://download.lineageos.org/devices/alioth/builds also include the 5 .img files listed just below it?

Does the updater app also overwrite/update the .img's?

Pictures in 16:9 are around 4MB. The 48MP ones were 15MB. I doubt it's the same quality, but I'll wait for a fix...

ATTENTION: i´m getting a virus alert when i´m dumping the new firmwares from the GLOBAL package!

Windows Defender finds the "Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml" in the "AppData\Local\Temp\payload_510959935.bin" file after extracting!

I updated following this. After the update the fingerprints profile was reseted. I just added the fingerprints and it works. Only problem with this is I am not able to register more than 3 fingerprints. At the 4th one it says it takes too long just when it's about to finish. Is this a bug?

Note:

• Must follow installation wiki for this device.
• GApps can only be flashed on clean installs.
• Formatting data (all user data is wiped, including internal storage) is a must if MIUI was previously installed and device was encrypted.
• No custom kernels are supported in this thread. Only stock kernel and official builds will be supported.
• Flashing LineageOS through custom recovery is not supported and not advised.
  • For recovery you must flash vendor_boot.img and boot.img

What I wonder about this upgrade instruction:
Is there really no need to flash a new vendor_boot.img first for the new LOS-Recovery since the ROM is based on Android 13 or is there no recovery change necessary?

Btw. I did not stick exactly to the official upgrade recommendations. I did the vendor_boot flash & sideloaded the new FW-package as ZIP from yshalsager's Xiaomifirmwareupdater via ADB. Way easier and faster than extracting out the stuff from the whole Package an install the images one by one. Don't know why that's not recommended. The pacakges from yshalsager are well established since years and work flawlessly.

But just to make sure everything worked - could anybody tell me please the baseband Version of Poco F3 after the Update to LOS 20?

My phone has just been heavily throttled due to playing Pokemon Go in the sun.

Currently cpu7 is stuck at 844 most of the time and very occasionally ramps up to 13xx only....

Think I'm gonna write a post in another section of the forum.

So I tested it now. Played a game in the sun. However, the temperature only went up to a maximum of 44°C and the core 7 only clocks up to 2.7 GHz.

Just experienced a reboot out of nowhere. After that, the sim card wasn't detected and I had to do a reboot again to get my sim cards back. My launcher (ADW2) wasn't default anymore and all my icons (in ADW2) seemed to be reset.

Just mentioning it here, maybe it happens to more people. I hope this was the first and last time it did.
