More About Flyme 6

Flashing Instructions:
·Unlock the bootloader and install latest version of TWRP
·Make sure your Nexus 6 are now running an Android 7.1.1 based ROM
·Boot into TWRP and perform a Factory Reset(Wipe Data, Cache, and Dalvik)
·Install the Flyme 6 package
·(Optional): Install any additional packages.
·Once installation has finished, return to the main menu, select Reboot, and then System
·The first boot needs 15-20 minutes.
·PLZ Download all of your Google apps from the Flyme's App Store.

2018.02.02: Update to Flyme 6.8.1.31R (Android 7.1.1). You must perform a Factory Reset(Wipe Data, Cache, and Dalvik) before installing this version.

Cautions:
· Downloading using cellular data may incur additional charges. If possible, please download the file via WLAN.
· To avoid loss of data & if required, please perform backups before flashing the system.
· To avoid bricking your phone, please do not turn off or restart the device while flashing.
· If you want to roll back to Flyme 5 from this version, you will need to clear user data first.
· There are several bugs due to the official sources, they will be fixed gradually.
· Do not post this ROM to other site without ddfzl's permission.

Flyme6 For Nexus 6 is supported by ddfzl. Meizu official server support weekly OTA updates. But we may change the base from aosp to google stock image. Later I will update the final OTA support version.

Installed as "secondary" in MultiROM. Booted up and looked nice. Is it possible to add gapps / google account?

But Google's stock MM images are no longer receiving security updates.

Very smooth and works well. Install GApps by opening the App Store and search "Google". First result. Install and run it. It may crash once or twice, but keep trying and let it install the apps.

At about 80% it'll say something about Google Service crashing, just ignore it and press "ok". It'll install and ask you to reboot. Do it, and when it boots up again it'll say "SystemUI has stopped". Press "OK" and wait a couple seconds and it'll be alright. Open the app back up and press "Open Google" and you will get to a "Checking Info..." Screen.

Initial sign in screen may be stuck at "Checking info..." For a while. Let it sit here and grant every permission it asks for, and you'll be okay. Everything will work.

Open Gapps PICO works fine with a few errors -- just click OK 2-3 times and you're good to go.

Navigation Bar issues

Hi @sunnyfinder,

This is a great rom!! Thanks.

Could you please check these:
-Navigation bar, it doesn't work good with browser. When we type something into browser the below toolbar of browser disappers, I think it hides behind navigation bar. For opening new tab we need the toolbar of browser.
-Notifications screen's clear button overlaps with navigation bar.
-MIUI, AOSP roms for nexus 6 has better navigation bar, could we reuse anything from there?
-Calculator is crunched with buttons not visible full.
-Icons for google apps are small or not exact size of other flyme icons. Is there any universal theme which we can use?

Hope these points help to make it a best rom.

There are 2 fils in the Drive folder, which one to download? Two different sizes, 802mb and 863mb.
Which is the latest one containing the gapps? I think its the file with Beta name right?The 863mb one...

802mb is international version with gapps. IR is mebtioned on the zip file.
