I don't use nfc and it's Greek to me, so maybe I'll write nonsense, but maybe you miss Android beam apk (on latest Android versions replaced with Nearby sharing).
Mmmm no, I don't talk about this kind of use. in fact I use nfc to write key pass but when I switch to custom rom nfc doesn't read my pass. So when I will have some time to kill, I will try with that rom hopping that it wil' work. It is the only thing that makes me remain on emui
I don't know about that app but I was able to use tap and pay. My bank app does some checks before allowing card assignment to nfc and it only failed when I didn't hide magisk from it.

if I remember correctly, there is an NfcNci file in /system/app, try to copy it to system/priv-app ( don't forget to set permissions, usually 755 and 644).

I build a new version of lineage 16 anne unofficial september , if is a problem @DarkJoker360 i will remove it.
I didn't test but should work. I only add my kernel, sync lineage source, add webview fix and add a fingerprint that may help with google certification.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9 (Pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

First flash TWRP , run command
fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk (TWRP's_name).img
Since A8 and above you can not install TWRP over eRecovery from fastboot, only from TWRP:
- Copy TWRP file to the SD card, and also copy to card Stock Recovery_ramdisk, download here: https://mega.nz/#!M0FHlYhb!4yWz8Onr3D1NATel4mZSK4SNdd5B3p6dnPg6oXPGWl8
Boot in TWRP, select storage - SD Card, select "Install image", find TWRP file and mark eRecovery, swipe. Go back, find recovery_ramdisk-9.1 file , mark Recovery, swipe. Reboot system.
