are you serious!?
Im asking nicely because I did flash the TWRP via adb but its not working it says phone locked because my bootloader was lock. If you can't answer my question you better ignore it.

My own experience only, not universal guide
- Install TWRP - I tried several TWRP with result "error 7", finally tried TWRPm from the link and it worked (idk why, it's for Oreo)
https://mega.nz/#!Fgd0xa4R!1o5ejzDnkLJLG2tAZG-STtlJ4nnNCHfwwZdOlmOkrVw
- boot in TWRP > Wipe > Format data , Reboot system and boot back in TWRP
- Wipe > Advanced Wipe > Wipe Dalvik, Cache, Data, System, Internal storage > Swipe to wipe and go back to the TWRPs main menu
- Flash LineageOS 16.0
- Do Factory reset from STOCK RECOVERY (I would recommend installing TWRP over eRecovery, it makes things easier)
- Enjoy
Compare software:Thanks, I will give it a shot later, it's funny though because these look like the instructions for the P Smart, even the twrp download is for that model, not for the p20 =o

>fastboot flash erecovery_ramdisk TWRP-oreo-smart.img
Sending 'erecovery_ramdisk' (24790 KB) OKAY [ 0.677s]
Writing 'erecovery_ramdisk' FAILED (remote: 'Command not allowed')
fastboot: error: Command failed
First flash TWRP , run commandMakes sense lol.
Well either way, hitting a bit of an issue from the starting point :
Code:>fastboot flash erecovery_ramdisk TWRP-oreo-smart.img Sending 'erecovery_ramdisk' (24790 KB) OKAY [ 0.677s] Writing 'erecovery_ramdisk' FAILED (remote: 'Command not allowed') fastboot: error: Command failed
All I can flash is the regular recovery_ramdisk partition, which would overwrite the stock recovery :|
EDIT : Trying to relock and unlock the bootloader to get around that, since that seems to be the issue here.
First flash TWRP , run command
fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk TWRP-oreo-smart.img
Since A8 and above you can not install TWRP over eRecovery from fastboot, only from TWRP:
- Copy TWRP file to the SD card, and also copy to card Stock Recovery_ramdisk, download here:
https://mega.nz/#!M0FHlYhb!4yWz8Onr3D1NATel4mZSK4SNdd5B3p6dnPg6oXPGWl8
Boot in TWRP, select storage - SD Card, select "Install image", find TWRP-oreo-smart file and mark eRecovery, swipe. Go back, find recovery_ramdisk-9.1 file , mark Recovery, swipe. Reboot system.
the su addon still would not install via this TWRP either but hey at least it's progress.![]()
Oops I thought I mentioned it in my post, but magisk also fails to flash : When I flash it through twrp it goes through almost all steps but at the end it comes up with a "cannot mount vendor partition" error. And Magisk Manager cannot see it
I'll try with other TWRP versions tomorrow I guess, for now this is progress enough, heh
Hey dude try this way out...
- Download Magisk manager apk. , patched recovery_ramdisk and TWRP for 9.1:
https://mega.nz/#!ohkgwSzb!xD32btG_3Sax-V7bn6xbWR5fH0crPrry06cCxusf5Hg
https://mega.nz/#!tkcTlATI!A8UJGPBGtxJbLcUOJoxCGJj5PFZXzCnjbb3OkwqKTP8
https://mega.nz/#!xkd2ibKY!JCLNMNKRI1e0FI1bJ4YI5Lr9Hdg9eo4A9kv0MhxgIdA
Transfer TWRP and patched recovery_ramdisk to SD Card, install Magisk manager apk., boot in TWRP, replace your current TWRP with downloaded 9.1 (over eRecovery!) , reboot in TWRP 9.1 , and flash patched recovery_ramdisk over Recovery. Go back > Reboot > Reboot recovery. Phone will reboot via Recovery , but not in Recovery mode. Open Magisk manager and voilá , you have installed Magisk v19.3 . Enjoy
P.S.:
Now every time you want to boot phone with root access must hold volume up and power at the beginning (because of patched recovery_ramdisk).
You may also boot in Recovery from Mag.manager (from TWRP).
P.S 2.: If you aren't sure whether you want to update Magisk, then open Mag. manager > Settings > Update channel* > Custom > Insert a custom URL:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/topjohnwu/magisk_files/master/canary_builds/canary.json
Hi, you updated the post as to use emui build 9.1.0.200 but that build is only available for L21 which is dual sim. androidhost.ru/1Lzq says L01 in title but it fails to install on my L01, makes sense because it lacks L01 folder inside dload. You can get 9.1.0.132 and 9.1.0.257 but you can't get 200 for L01 without going to shady firmware sites or paying for it. I'd appriciate anyone who throws build 200 on my way tho. I'll try to install LOS with 278 and if that fails to fix the wifi issue I'll try it with 257 since those builds are already on my drive. If I have to rollback further I'll have to use 132 which hisuite offers after rolling back to emui 8 and then updating it back to 9 again. I'll update this reply as to which builds work without problem.
ps. For those who skipped few pages of comments, installing LOS with latest emui build causes wifi to not connect passworded networks.
edit. My bad, if you are at latest build going back to emui 8, then updating it back to emui 9 will put you at build 9.1.0.132. If you check for updates again, it'll update to the target build which is 9.1.0.200. You could use one of 9.1.0.132 dloads from androidhost then update once to reach the same spot. I think this process should be at install instructions since newer builds has wifi problem.
Tried ROM on build number 9.1.0.278 (C432), Wi-Fi working without issues.
where can I find the image to download?
Can you maybe provide link?
Thanks. Wasn"t able to install first time, need to try again as I did eRecovery to stock latest version.
Hi,
before installing I need to know something about this ROM:
- Is there a working huawei camera porting?
-Are SD card, bluetooth, GPS correctly working?
-Do Home banking apps work? (no root detected)
I'm from C432.368 (Last), Do i need to change version?
thanks in advance

It is not missing, it is in system/product due to lineage changes and it is crashing just because it is there right now, I am working on it.Hi! Is factory reset with stock recovery still needed?
Edit : yes is needed
BUG : webview is missing , solved by installing it with apk , device is not certified by google play
