ROM is probably still oreo FW, but going from latest MIUI makes you on PIE firmware.
Go for PIE enabled FW roms.

Any suggestions on how to improve RAM management? When switching to apps such as Firefox, Instagram or Outlook via the multitasking menu, the screen turns white before reopening the app, rather than immediately restoring the app and screen/page position I was at last.

What tweaks or settings can I change (such as those in an app like kernel adiutor) to ensure apps always resume immediately when I switch to them?

Disabling doze or battery optimisation hasn't helped.

I never go over 4GB of RAM according to devcheck and would like to make use of all of available RAM

Loving this ROM, most stable and battery efficient of all the oreo ROMs by far.

Help! i unlocked bootloader in my RN5, flash antirollback, then TWRP and in twrp i flashed this rom. After reboot there is black screen and nothing happens. What to do now?

I dont need flash this Antirollback?

I need just unlock and flash twrp, fw, rom, gapps, magisk and reboot?

Antirollback: No, you are on ARB4 now.
You don't need fw because you already have the latest from Miui Pie, the rest is ok.

I have asked in aosip pie thread about it, and someone told me that I need to flash oreo fw first. Which one is correct step for me, sir? fw oreo first or stay with pie fw?
FYI: I'm using PitchBlack Recovery, which is support for oreo or pie fw.

I'm on derp 3.3 (clang 8.0.344013) with aosip 8.1 for whyred and experiencing battery drain when switching from mobile Internet to WiFi connection (drain shows as unaccounted in system panel battery monitor)

Saw the 'WiFi battery drain on custom whyred ROMS - solved' thread but unsure what the actual solution is.

Grateful for some assistance!
