Thanks for reply. Yes Sir I'm using that test build you just released yesterday I believe. I was having battery issues on the previous build using built in kernel then saw that you released a test build and so I flashed it this morning and I know its too early but I can already notice improvement in battery after one charge cycle. But will try that and report later.

i clean flashed latest test build, with latest full beans gapps. installed EXKM and that was it. greenify, naptime and wakeblock. no other apps on the phone.
on the previous build which many had problems with magisk, with, my screen off was good in the end. losing 1-2% eventually overnight. but i lost 34% after being fully charged. what's "eating the battery"?

I've just dirty flashed over the last test build and it's booted fine. Can't say anything more than that at the moment...! If it gives me any grief down the line I'll clean flash later.
@calebcabob - just curious, what prompted the switch to Flash? Especially after you'd put so much effort into bug fixing and optimising your own kernel...

Was the test bikinibottom kernel the Flashes? Just curious cause the new build is with Nathans, just loving the battery life with test build

Well, I am not by any means a kernel pro. Switching over to one made by a pro was something I had considered doing for a little while now. I enjoy the benefits of an amazing kernel just like anybody else, so I just thought it made sense. If things don't work out well, I'll switch back. For now I think it's a good move though.



IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO ALL:
If you are planning to flash a custom kernel OVER the Flash Kernel version that comes with AquariOS now, PLEASE wait for my next build to do that, as the current ramdisk tweaks may give you a poor experience with another kernel.

I plan to make things more universally friendly on the next build (for those who want to flash a different kernel)

Clean flash, and boot with f2fs since it has flash kernel built in. It's running fast and snappy. Thanks, dev! Can we get the solid home/nav buttons back? Also, safetynet does not work anymore with magisk hide, any idea?

Edit: By yesterday I mean early this morning. Working third shift has me all screwed up with what day is what lol

    Q & A
    Read this before telling everyone something is broken!

    1. Android Pay isn't working!! What do I do?
    Go into Magisk settings and toggle on the "Hide Magisk" option. Then try again. Also, I've found once in a great while, even with this enabled, it will say it failed - if this happens, just try again...it'll work.

    2. Help! I can't find more Q & A entries! Why is there only one??
    I'll add more soon :)

    Anyone who takes it upon themself to "release" (upload, share, provide links to) any of my AquariOS builds based on Android v8.0.0 will be reported and will face consequences as far as I can push them with xda moderators.

    It was an accidental leak which was all due to the way androidfilehost updated their site. Not to mention, the builds that were leaked were just test builds...most of them had at least one major crash happening in them - hence the reason they were not released. Please respect the fact that the builds were NOT intended to be released by myself.

    Anyways, I think you will all be happy with the wait. However, Oreo will not be released overnight...it'll take time, and hours and hours, days, weeks, of editing and testing first.
