Issues on sprint

I've installed the ROM, running amazingly smooth, having an issue with the phone now not recognizing the sprint network, I have installed the flash kernel but was not sure if that was the issue or if it's possibly the ROM itself

Probably saw Feb 25 like I did and thought it was new build.

So what I'm gathering, clean flash with wipe on both slots.

Boot twrp
Flash twrp
Flash rom
Full boot.
Flash twrp
Flash magisk
Profit?

This is the most complicated device I've ever owned lol.
I'm telling ya man. Been flashing and rooting for years. Heck I even used to make my own scripts and even compiled a few aosp ROMs. But this device is so finicky when it comes to flashing ROMs and stuff. I still love it tho.

So I was really curious about these complicated steps and usually when I follow OPs instructions I end up in boot loop this happened to me in NOS and DU lol so for this ROM here's what I did coming from latest STOCK:

1. Backup in Twrp
2. Wipe data/factory reset
3. Flash ROM
4. Flash Twrp
5 reboot to system and do minimal setup(never knew my lockscreen password would still be there but it was)
6. Boot back to Twrp
7. Flash magisk and flash kernel
8. Reboot
9. Profit

Just sharing what worked for me. Didn't mess with that slot a/b sh?t

Also wanted to touch base on that 4g instead of LTE showing up in the status bar. Is that actually 4g or is it really LTE but just showing 4g? This happens in all 3 custom ROMs I tried.

I followed the instructions for flashing from stock. Was using D.U. but wanted a change. After using dueces bootloop to flash march stock build I then started going through the instructions and it ended up taking me in a big circle. I was back to stock march so I booted twrp factory reset flashed ROM rebooted all went smooth. After set up I booted twrp flashed twrp zip flashed magisk and everything is running smooth. I also installed a substratum theme just because I played for the app and soon I won't be able to use it.

1. Boot in TWRP(if you have not yet TWRP installed, boot from your pc with adb in TWRP.img)
2. Flash TWRP installer.zip
3.Wipe(Factory Reset) in TWRP
4.Flash Rom
5.Flash TWRP installer.zip (very important this step after flashing the rom)
6. Reboot phone and make the setup steps
7.Reboot phone in TWRP.
8. If you want other kernel flash custom kernel.
9.If you want root flash Magisk.
With these steps i have never had problems with my Pixel 2 XL
Hope that this can help a lot of people here. Have a good day everyone.

    Disclaimer:
We are NOT responsible for anything that may happen to your device as a result of flashing ROMs, kernels, or installing any other mod. You are responsible for your own actions and bad decisions - so stop blaming others! ;)

This is a user friendly thread. Please be respectful and courteous to other users. While feature requests will be considered, AquariOS tries to maintain a ROM that is smooth and stable, so adding every feature under the sun is not the plan here.

    READ!
    1. Unless I tell you otherwise, you MUST always, absolutely, positively, most certainly wipe data AND cache before flashing AquariOS...without a doubt!

    2. Don't report bugs if you haven't followed directions - most likely it's user error at that point as far as I'm concerned.

    3. Always run a backup before doing anything.

    4. Provide a log when reporting a bug (see more info below).

    5. Be respectful.

    Q & A
Read this before telling everyone something is broken!

    1. Android Pay isn't working!! What do I do?
Go into Magisk settings and toggle on the "Hide Magisk" option. Then try again. Also, I've found once in a great while, even with this enabled, it will say it failed - if this happens, just try again...it'll work.

    2. It's bootlooping after flashing ROM with Magisk - now what?
Don't flash Magisk until you have already booted into the new AquariOS build at least once. If that wasn't your issue, sometimes Substratum overlays can cause bootloops. If you have anything applied, flash the SubstratumRescue zip from your substratum directory

    3. Why is the built-in System Theme section greyed-out (background, accent, & fonts)?
When the Substratum app is installed, this section will become inaccessible in order to prevent conflicts. You CANNOT use them both at once!

    4. WiFi Calling isn't working, but my carrier supports it. Why is that?
With certain carriers, such as Verizon, it has been found that users must first activate WiFi Calling on stock before it'll work on custom ROMs. If your carrier supports WiFi Calling, and you've already tried activating it on stock, let us know so we can look into it deeper.

    Reporting a bug?
See how to do so here:

    BEFORE REPORTING A BUG:
    1. Flash the SubstratumRescue zip and see if your issue is still there.
    2. If you have flashed a custom kernel or ANY OTHER MODs, delete 'data/system/packages_cache' then wipe dalvik/cache, and flash AquariOS again WITHOUT any additional modifications/custom kernel.
    3. Check to see if your issue persists.

*Do NOT even bother reporting an issue if you have dirty-flashed AquariOS over some other ROM! We WILL be able to tell!

Logs are crucial to resolving almost any kind of issue. You need to provide a log in order for the issue to be addressed. Please also include info on how to reproduce the reported bug if possible (maybe even take a screen recording for us ;)).

If you need a log extracting app, try out CatLog!
Either save your log locally and share it, or paste your log into an online code sharing tool like hastebin.com - then share the URL after hitting the SAVE icon.
