Same problem on version 20220616 (vanilia build). After clean flash can't restore data/apps from google backup.

After upgrade from version 20220602 can't boot to system

Have not installed yet, since i may be going for a more feature filled rom instead of this basic stable rom.

But Vanilla build as the name implies has removed google apps. Therefore anything system nativ using google will not work. Bad UI if the setting is still appearing.
You need to install the GAPPS build version or twrp/sideload some third party gapps afterwards.

Works perfectly so far, I tried about six ROMs since getting the Mi9T about a month ago and this one seems to be the smoothest

Same issue here, very annoying and battery consuming. Had to clean install Arrow 12.1 and so far everything seems ok.

Coming from pixel experience. Just installed Arrow 12.1 (from 01.08, with gapps) and having a couple of problems. Fingerprint unlock from AOD works only for the first 5 seconds of being locked, and after that i have to press physical button for it to work. And another problem is with phone being encrypted, but twrp-3.6.2_9-0 being unaware of it and not asking a pin and showing gibberish instead of folders (after seeing it i actually factory reset it in the options, than wiped everything with TWRP and reinstall it again... didn't help)

Hi, I'm going to install Arrow 12.1 but I have two questions:

1) What are your observations on battery life (SOT, screen off consuming etc.)
2) What is the benefit of flashing firmware? The latest k20 firmware includes A11 but the rom is A12. Why do we flash it first?

Can't say anything objectively, as i spend most days at home and thus don't use phone much. But compared to year old pixel experience (which was ok at the start) it's really good. With PE, by night i had like 20% from 100% in the morning, while having screen time of maybe 30 minutes, also having spotify on for 2 hours meant that i deffinetely would have to charge during the day. Now with same usecases i have 70% by night without using phone much (i use AOD), and if i go out and have to use maps and listen to spotify, i usually get 35% by night.

    Hello there,
I faced the same issue as before, I'm using TWRP and whenever I try to update the ROM it tells me there was a mistake. So I had to do a clean flash straight out from TWRP rather than regularly update it.

Is any of you facing the same problem? Did you manage to update straight from the system updater?
It's not possible to update via the system updater atm, because the recoveries are not yet able to decrypt Android 12 storage. So in order to update, you either have to clean flash, or you can use ADB sideload connected to a computer to dirty flash. Another option would be to use a USB stick via OTG and put the image on there.

Basically... Install adb on the pc, download rom zip to adb installation folder, open command prompt window in adb installation directory, phone in recovery/advanced/sideload, type adb sideload "rom/update name".zip in command window, wipe Dalvik and cache and let it finish reboot

It keeps getting better and better... Awesome job guys definitely the best A12 Rom, stable, fast, great battery life, and updated regularly... If you want to leave MIUI and A11 behind, this one is your best option without a doubt...
    Edit (phone encrypted, unrooted)

A possibility to disable the AOD during the night would be great.

You can just put the phone with the screen facing to the table or whatever and it will turn off.
