I'm sorry to hear it. Maybe indeed something is broken in the last GAPPS build. Let's wait and see what other members in this thread who use GAPPS build can say about your problem.

I have the similar experience with VANILLA build. Both clean and dirty flashes. No problems whatsoever. But I use microG, not GAPPS on my ginkgo.
Hi, I'm using arrowOS on my gingko since August; I'm on vanilla build. I'm using latest TWRP official recovery. I updated system twice but after every update I have bootloop; to solve the problem after every update I must Flash DM-Verity-disabler, why? How can I update to last builds without flashing DM-verity disabler?
(I also have magisk23.0 installed and I don't uninstall before update -- in magisk app I saw the device has ramdisk in recovery, so I think magisk always patches boot image to force the device to boot from recovery: if I try to boot in recovery with combo power+volume up I always boot the system; to enter recovery I must use advanced reboot settings..)

Just wanted to say that it seems that the Latest Sept 14 update broke the fingerprint I tried deleting and adding the fingerprint it doesn't seem to work
Same for me, i come from August 24 build with A11 firmware.

I've try to rollback 24 August build and I can't... I've try 12 and 14 September build, same problem, finger print doesn't work anymore. NFC work fine.
Do you have any Idea ? Better than clean flash ?

Otherwise, as far as the fingerprint is concerned, yesterday I updated to version: GAPPS build Date: 2021-09-20
And the fingerprint works properly.
So I would try to do a clean install again

I faced similar situation with the secondary user profile. But it happens for me with any A11 ROM for ginkgo. Do you have this fingerprint problem with primary profile?
Yes, and even more strangely it occured as I was downloading a big file while not having enough space so it may not necessarily be an update problem

Clean flash (coming from a different ROM or arrow-11.0/12.0):
- Download ROM from below
- Reboot to recovery
- Wipe data, cache, dalvik cache
- Flash latest android-11 firmware (Ginkgo | Willow)
- Flash ROM zip
- Format data (if encrypted)
- Reboot and voila!
- To get root access, reboot to recovery after ROM setup and flash Magisk.
Use the built-in OTA updater, or
- Reboot to recovery
- Wipe cache and dalvik cache
- Flash ROM zip
- Flash firmware update if required
- Reboot and voila!
