Team Bliss is pleased to present to you
Bliss 7.3

Bliss is one of the most highly customizable roms that you can install on your mobile device as well as your PC, and we hope you have a truly blissful experience.

Bliss-caf is CAF based, optimized, and includes the most features out of all our branches. More features and devices are being added weekly to this branch. It will be the most updated.

Bliss-decaf is AOSP based, slimmed down, optimized, and included a ton of extra features added in from various roms, and we will continue to add more as they become available. We will keep up to date with the latest AOSP code, and updates will be posted on a regular basis, but not as often as out Bliss-CAF branch.

Bliss-x86 is our Bliss for PC project, will have a few PC centric extras added in to help with application compatibility, mouse integration, keyboard shortcuts, tc. And we have added a few little linux throwbacks like bash and busybox commands, integrated Terminal and much more.

Please do not ask for ETA's. We will update the links as soon as they become available.

We will not tolerate any rudeness or anyone being disrespectful in this thread. Moderators, feel free to enforce anything you feel is necessary to stop bad posts.
We will do our best to answer your questions or concerns as soon as possible.

Bliss-x86 comes with OpenGapps built in (Because there is no way for us to use a recovery on a PC) For all mobile devices and tablets, we recommend using any of the following sets of GApps:

Team Bliss is not responsible in any way for anything that happens to your device in the process of flashing.
Please familiarize yourself with flashing and custom rom use before attempting to flash the rom.
Please make sure you download the correct version of Bliss for your specific device. The links are labeled clearly.

FIRST CHECK SECOND POST - Make sure your device doesn't have any special instructions.
  • Make sure you are rooted.
  • Make sure you have a custom recovery installed. (TWRP is the preferred recovery)
  • Download the latest Bliss Rom & the latest GApps package.
  • Boot into recovery.
  • Backup your current ROM
  • Perform a FULL factory wipe and wipe/system and dalvik cache as a precaution
  • Flash Bliss Rom
  • Flash Google Apps package (for 7.1!)
  • Flash either SuperSU or Magisk
  • First boot may take up to 10 minutes. This is due to Gapps and root optimization.

Know Issues:

Only certain camera apps seem to work. OpenCamera is included with the build, but you can only video record up to 1080. Anything higher will break. Due to the fact that bliss doesn't use ffmpeg, there might be issues with certain codecs and in certain apps. Everything else seems to work great, you can take great pics. The media_codecs still need some more tweaking though. There possibly might be issues with with other apps dealing with the codec issue. Ie snapchat.

Thank you and welcome to Axon 7 lovers forum.
Is the device maintained by a certain member, who owns this device?
Hope there is a long time support, at least as long as LOS does support this device.

Well well well. Given that I've used quite a few ROMs and kernels (Tootsie Pop) on my G3 from Sir aclegg2011 I'm pleased to do so on the ZTE. Missed out on RR though.

Can someone with this installed please let us know if it runs smooth on Daydream?
You need to put it in the viewer to really tell. I tried the latest LineageOS, but it was super choppy and jittery to the point of nausea.

I'm definitely trying this today. Your work with RR was absolutely splendid and I think you for introducing me to that rom. I've been on it since day one, even if my fingers get fla****chy I always come back to RR. With that said, I'm sure you put the same passion into this one. Thanks for sharing

Just an update for you guys. Everyone on bliss is impatiently waiting for android O to drop. This time around we have a lot more devs to support the CAF branch of bliss, so we should be able to get the things rolling pretty fast. As for why Ive dropped so many projects so quick there's a reason for that. Im super picky about what I put on my phone. I dropped RR because I think aosp-caf based roms are more stable and just run better. The one bliss caf dev at the time couldn't get 7.1.2 to run right because of all the CAF changes. As for purefusion os. It's a damn good rom, but it's more focused towards the HTC 10. Right now Im working on a stable aosp-caf (my base test rom) 7.1.2 EAS v1 rom. If you guys like to try it it's pretty basic, but it's what I run on a daily basis. For device issues I *think* I got a lot of issues licked. Next phase will be EAS v2. Based off @Unjustified Dev 's b25 updated branches. I actually had everything working, but I kept getting random reboots. Also I'll be adding EAS to the rebased los kernel. Once I get EAS v2 stable, and Android isn't out yet, I might take another crack at the android 4.4 kernel.
I'm working on those reboots. I don't know if some are related to USB or something else but I haven't been able to catch them yet, but waiting for my next off day to mess around with things. Let me know if you want help with the 4.4 kernel. You can probably get help from ZTE and a few members of the team.

Can we use Magisk on this ROM?
    1
Yes. I'm using it right now.
Do we uninstall SuperSU before installing Magisk? If so how do we uninstall SuperSU?

Hmm, the OP says SuperSU is included but when I flashed it last night I saw no SuperSU anywhere. If I read/remember correctly in the magisk thread one can use it with SU.
Anyway, to remove SU you'll want to use the unSU script. Here's a pointer to the script from AX7 kernel thread...

    http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=71129294

On other notes. After work I'll test again as I came across a number of issues last night but was really sleepy and also couldn't remember my pastebin login. ?

    Has anyone experienced the following...
Settings -> Security. The cog in the upper right next to lock screen stuff. Settings would FC every time I tried to access it.

SmartBar. Can't assign any actions whatsoever. No errors or anything, just nothing happens. Fling actions work just fine.

Couple of other Settings FCs. But again, after work I'll reflash, setup, try to reproduce, and submit logs.
