It has issues I think. Meanwhile my Pixel 2 is already happily zipping away on 20...so what's your guess about pixel3 not entering lineage20 official builds?
Tbh, I don't guess. I don't really care why it's not official either. That label doesn't mean much except for having a bot build it. Considering we have a few of the top lineage maintainers that build for our device, it's extremely irrelevant. Razor was making test builds for freezing over the past week or so, so it could be them wanting to find a permanent fix before making it official but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯so what's your guess about pixel3 not entering lineage20 official builds?
So there still are issues. What would you say is preventing official status also go frameworkI've been using the patched version and my phone is perfectly stable now with tap to pay working and root hidden from banking apps! I'm also having issues with esims though. I am currently traveling and I can download esims, but I can not turn on the esim once it is downloaded
thank you very much for the build that fixes the issues with magisk freezing!

So much for what? It works for me and always has. So what do you expect? Nobody give logs for this supposed esim issue. So do you expect one of the devs to magically fix something they don't use or have an issue with?

About this kernel patch - has this race condition existed for a long time? Or is this something specific to the Lineage 20 builds? Asking because every so often my phone likes to lock up, but I'm still running 19.1.Just made another lineage 20 build for you all.
With March security patches/updates.
Lots of changes in this one.
also, kernel was updated to 4.9.337
also, i add a kernel patch to fix the freezing caused by magisk.

Signature verification failed install anyway?
Should I select yes?
Awesome!Great news for magisk users.
The magisk devs finally fixed the freezing issue that's been going on for a few years on tons (probably hundreds) of different devices, including our Pixel 3/3xl.
The fix is in the newest magisk version 26.0 that came out today.

Hey LimitsX,Awesome!
So I recently installed your android 13 march 22 and magisk 25.2
How do I update to magisk 26?
Also, can you look into battery drain for your lineage OS 20? There is a battery drain issue. I've been experiencing it in LineageOS 19 and 20. I barely have any apps installed that would drain it. Especially when I use it, I am losing 1% every 2 minutes.
Are you sure, your battery has still enough capacity? I had the same issue, and after replacing the battery by a new one (hopefully original, bought at Ifixit) the screen on time and standby time is similar to the beginning. You can estimate the remaining capacity by using the "accu battery" app. Mine had only about 65% remaining and this caused the drain. Now I have 97% and 6h screen on time again. Keep in mind, the Pixel 3 and the batteries were produced in 2018, so it's normal degrading.Awesome!

Hey LimitsX,
I may have a hint for you on the battery drain: I recently did a clean install of the LOS 19.1 image on my Pixel 3 and afterwards I had huge issues with battery drain. It stopped immediately after I changed my APN from a third-party cellphone provider to the one which provides my SIM card.
Probably you know how to do it, just for completeness:
Settings > Network & internet > SIMs > Access Point Names (on the vey bottom) > select the one which sounds closest to your SIM card provider
I'm not sure if I did the same on the last install and I just forgot it. Or probably in the meantime, the providers are sorted in a modified way which causes "the problem". However, now the ROM is working perfectly clean again.
Hope that fixes the issue for you, too!
I have to check my battery capacity. How do you use the accu battery app, doesn't that app cause a drain as well?
But, when I use stock Android 11 with kriskara kernel the battery drain isn't this bad. Same with stock Android 12 June 2021 update with Kriskara kernel.
When I use LineageOS 19.1 its very high, 20 its not that bad, but still the drain is there.
