This is CandyKat. Built straight from SlimRoms source with commits from a variety of different Sources/ROMS. We wanted to give the users a fun, fully customizable ROM.We aim to add more features as this project progresses. We have also come up with the Candy Sweetener Pack. This is an Aroma installer that is full of delicious treats. Inspired by the CandyShop thread on XDA it has everything from glow dots to halo mods.

How do I regain root after I flash this ROM? Somehow I lost it. I know there was something you could flash through recovery out there somewhere but I can't find it, if any knows where it is I'd be grateful to know, thanks in advanced

I must say I'm very impressed with this ROM, great battery life and the level of customization through recovery is what really stands out! I have been using the phone for about an hour with screen on time with only a 4% battery drop! This is my new favorite ROM and I'm looking forward to seeing improvements on this already outstanding ROM!

We know that some of our 4.4.4 Roms use jb kernels and sources to run 4.4.4 Roms while others use regular 4.4.4 sources. U can tell by what modem u need to flash to get rotation working if you need a jelly bean radio to get rotation working then it's 4.2 sources

Thanks for the info. This is based off of slimrom source and uses their stock kernel. All the kernel source can be found at http://www.github.com/SlimRoms

Yea pretty sure slimrom is 4.2 sources their night lies are 4.4 not their stable builds. But that's how it use to be ihavent run slim I usually stick to mahdi. I'll flash this and report weather we need to flash a jb or kk modem

The whole thing is really wierd only phone I've had that's fine this before. But when the cm team released 4.4 they just hacked jb sources to get 4.4 to run properly. So even though it says it 4.4 it mostly is but the bootloader and kernel stayed 4.2. so people will always ask weather the rom is 4.2 or 4.4 sources because the user would need to flash a different modern to get it to run properly. If we flash a kk modern on a jb source kk rom rotation and a couple other things will not work until they flash a jb modem. And I believe most people think pure kk sources run a lot smoother now than jb sourced ROMs. In sorry if you knew all of this just trying to help someone out . this phones confusing as hell for the aosp side of roms
