Does the People number lookup work in the dialer. Nothing seems to popup when someone calls. I was using google and whitepages-us as the providers.

Edit: i figured it our.

you must update the binaries of superuser, and the icon disappears

I've compiled a new build for our surnia with the latest changes to the CM 12.1 branch. It contains the security updates with patch level " May 1st". Enjoy and remember: I'm not the developer, I only compile this ROM based on the official Cyanogenmod 12.1 repository for my own use and want it to share with you. The build date ist may the 20th. but how to install it like a usual update of cm12.1, without loss of data or settings?
install via twrp without any wipe?

I will release a new build whenever the CM devs merge the AOSP security changes in the CM-12.1 branch. They did it today, so i compiled a new build with the june patch in it. As always: enjoy them on your own risk.
I uploaded it again in my G-Drive: [EDIT: LINK NOT LONGER AVAILABLE]

I'm not the developer, I only compile this ROM based on the official Cyanogenmod 12.1 (nightly) repository for my own use and want it to share with you. :cool:

can I install your rom without any wipe, and hold my actual config of cm12.1 without loss?
I'm interesting by the security update, but want to hold my actual rom in state

i am sorry for this noob question, can i flash CM 13 directly on 5.1 Lollipop Rom? or do i need to perform some extra steps. XT1526 here

i wanna flash CM13, because some how i am unable to turn 3G on any other Rom, i am using a GSM network and 3G band is 2100MHZ where i live. Does Moto E XT1526 has 2100MHZ 3G band? can i be able to use 3G after flashing CM?
One more thing, can i revert back from Cm13 to My Stock Rom which i backed up using nandroid backup if i decided to go back to Stock Rom ?

I don't think the 2100 band is supported by the device. Also u can restore the stock ROM using a nandroid backup

2100MHz is Band 1. The XT1526 only supports 3G bands 2, 4, 5.

    I'm working on the XT1524 and the following status as only been tested on this device.

    Relax guys, there's no need to bicker, and there's no need to discuss ad nauseum whether or not my kernel supports CM12.1.

    Let me be perfectly clear: My r8 kernel works on all surnia 5.1 stock ROMs and all surnia 5.1 custom ROMs, including CM12.1.

    If you have any other questions about my kernel, you can use the Q&A thread for my kernel. This is a development thread for CyanogenMod, and it shouldn't be cluttered by irrelevant discussion or bickering.
